Is this the genuine brand

Yes, as far as I know. It is a really lovely scent and I have used it for years and also bought it as gifts for friends. No complaints.

I'm questioning how authentic it is

It seems authentic to me. I love this fragrance and this seems to last as well as smaller bottles I've bought from the shop. It is a very tall bottle, but I think it also looks lovely on the dressing table! But it is too big for a handbag, so I put some in one of those little perfume dispensers. Hope this helps :-)
