Easy to set up, installing use. Wow it’s loud! Definitely enough to alert me from the house, from my shed, and shock any potential thief and cause them enough pain to deter them. 30 seconds to arm is plenty of time but would like longer to disarm than 5 seconds, it has gone off a couple of times due to a seconds delay. I find the sensor enough to set off the alarm but not to sensitive to cause it to go off unnecessarily. I would highly recommend.

Very loud, easely understood instructions and easy to follow. The programming of my own code was done in one go and installation was simple using the very strong double sided tape. I have only given 4 stars as on occasion on entering the disarm code, it has had to be done twice with the alarm shrieking at you, not to much of a problem, but at 6 in the morning the neighbors might not now be my fans. Overall a very good alarm for not a lot of money.

fitting the unit was very simple the alarm can be screwed into position or stuck with very strong adhesive pads. I choose to screw mine into the office door. once fitted and the alarm set I'm sure it would deter the opportunist thief. However if they did decide to give it a go they would be met with a very loud shrill alarm that if to close is deafening. My only dislike is that the keys are very sensitive and when punching in the code to unlock I have set the alarm off a couple of times ,however its easily remedied by putting in the code again. the doors to my garden office\studio are under a covered porch affording the doors protection from the weather extremes .like all sticky pads im not sure how long the would last if used in all weathers and on a rough surface such as a shed door .I will be getting one for my shed ,but I will fix a small piece of smooth plastic on which the unit should have perfect adhesion .to summarise a very simple yet extremely effective alarm which has the additional advantage of also being a visual deterrent. . very happy with this unit and would happily recommend it to friends and family .

Great little alarm, simple to install. I only give it 4 stars due to the LED staying on permanently . I contacted the manufacturer to see why. Update Manufacturer did reply very quickly but did not shed much light. Led is permanently on draining the battery much quicker. Tried multiple new batteries to no avail.

I bought one of these for a shed and was very happy with it, so I bought another for another shed. It is very easy to install and use, and the noise level is great. My only criticism is the packaging. It nearly drove me insane. Both units were wrapped very tightly in a thin clear adhesive protective film. This needed to be removed in order to take off the battery cover. If I could possibly have left it on I would have done so, because you need unlimited patience and the dexterity of a neurosurgeon to remove it. It tears off in tiny pieces and I had to pick them off piece by piece using fingernails and eventually a pair of tweezers. It is completely unnecessary and frayed my temper to the point where I almost threw the second one away. When installing the main unit I would definitely recommend using the screws rather than the adhesive pad. I first tried sticking it, but it fell off within 24 hours. The magnetic part held fine because it is so much lighter, which is a good thing because I can't see how it is possible to screw it in place. If it falls off eventually I guess I will need to glue it in place with some strong glue.

Despite what is claimed in other reviews, this unit is NOT waterproof. It can only be fitted inside, which makes the inclusion of a solar panel utterly pointless. I tried wrapping it with heavy duty transparent tape ("sticky backed plastic" to channel Blue Peter), and that muffled the sound. If it gets damp it gets confused about what state it's in - rather than the LED turning off, it has wanted to stay on permanently for me. Whenever the batteries change it forgets your PIN, and then you need to remember the correct sequence of buttons to reset it. The vibration sensors are very sensitive, and thus go off all the time for me - so I have to disable them, which means remembering another sequence of button clicks. Really, it's a nice idea, but poorly implemented. If you want to use this 'outside' (say, on a gate) rather than 'inside' (say, inside a shed), just give up now.

Great little shed alarm and well priced. Very loud for its size and works faultlessly. Simple to install.

Good alarm once set up with sensor close to the main unit, but in this case it was tricky owing to have to dub out the sensor by 2 inches or so. Also, I would have preferred an alarm 7 or 8 feet into the depth of the structure rather than at the entrance door (as was possible some years ago) - with wired sensors on the top of the door and upper frame rail. I haven't measured the volume, but another issue is that it does not sound to be 130 decibels as advertised - more like a hundred. The idea is to strongly deter intruders, and I feel more volume is required. (I have it in a windowless structure which also doesn't purpose the solar element, unfortunately - though this is not the maker's issue).
