L'Oreal Paris True Match Minerals Foundation, 1R Ivory Rose

Needed an alternative to bare minerals foundation. This has good ingredients and so much cheaper, covers my acne marks really nicely and good colour match!

I've got to be honest, I've never tried mineral foundation before and I haven't tried L'Oreal's old version of this product so I can't compare this to the old formula or any similar products. Despite this, the product goes on really quickly and looks natural, so I imagine this would be great in summer when you don't want to wear anything heavy, or when you may need to reapply the product throughout the day. It's definitely a light coverage foundation, but I expected that as it's a mineral powder, but I've heard you can build the product up in layers for more full coverage or even use it over the top of something else, like a BB cream, for better coverage although I haven't tried this myself yet. The packaging is nice and feels high-quality and the dip where you put your brush in is the perfect size for most standard brushes (i've tried a few of my powder brushes in different sizes and a real techniques buffing brush and they all fit just fine), plus this dip means the product doesn't get everywhere when trying to get it on the brush. The mesh that that covers the product is very elastic (it reminds me of the elastic cotton material used in fishnet tights) and means you can push the mesh down with your brush to pick up the product at the bottom of the container rather than trying to tap it out into the lid as you might do with other powders. Overall, the product lasts really well on the skin, the packaging is nice, and I'm happy with the product.

My wife has sensitive skin and loves using this foundation. Have been unable to find this in well known high street shops (wondered if it had been discontinued). Amazon came to the rescue - as usual.

If your looking for something natural looking and something to give you a smoother look, then this is the stuff for you! But if your wanting something with some coverage then it definitely isn’t. I hate that this doesn’t really build up because it is so nice to wear. You get such a nice and even colour from it it’s gorgeous. But, you don’t get any coverage which I need when my skin flairs up and I like to be able to see that I have make up on sometimes too. Also, another reason I give it 3 stars is because you get soooo little for the price!! Like the lid is bigger then what you get! When you take the lid off the jar even scoops down so there’s even less in it then it seems too.

I really like this powder. Unfortunately the colour I purchased is too light for me so I use it as a highlighter. I will buy again once I figure out what would be the correct shade for me.

This is one of the best mineral products and I don't know ow why Loreal decided to discontinue it. I buy it from the sellers and mix it with another product but I don't know what I will use when it runs out. Come on loeral , put it on your books again, its a seller product!

Light weight but can build the product up to be whatever coverage you need. Only draw back is the packaging, bulky lid and unnecessary mess covering allowing you only the smallest amount of powder and that is after digging for it. Other than the packaging it is very good!

Can't believe loreal discontinued this product, it's so good, great coverage with a soft dewy glow! Thank goodness can still get it on Amazon

Couleur catastrophique

Très bon fond de teint, couvrance très correcte pour une poudre, tenue parfaite pour moi, facile d’utilisation, surtout cette nouvelle version en terme de présentation qui oblique à avoir un pinceau mais bien plus pratique tout de même que l'ancienne version avec pinceau fournie...tamis pratique délivre ce qu'il faut de produit! à recommander!!

Avis mitigé, j’utilise le true match/ autrement appelé accord parfait minéral depuis de nombreuses années Nouveau packaging mais le produit reste en soit le même. Bonne texture, sans parfum , et minéral, couvrante légère et non grasse surtout ( pas comme BB crème, CC crème) Seul hic, le packaging qui n’offre plus la houppette pour l’application, il n’y a plus la brosse intégré au capuchon c’est nulle et n’est plus pratique du tout pour le transport au quotidien.
