The taste and smell of this saw palmetto powder are barely noticeable, which is a good thing because when you take things in powders you tends to get more taste than you would like. It is difficult to know the exact effect of this saw palmetto supplement because I take it in combination with other supplement powders. It would be difficult to determine which results belong to which supplements. However, I can say that since I have started taking it, the most noticeable thing has been an increased appetite. While it certainly was more enjoyable to have an appetite and the motivation to eat (makes eating more enjoyable), it has resulted in a bit of weight gain. I reduced the dosage of this and the other suspected supplements, and my appetite returned to normal. The other supplements I began taking at the same time include fenugreek and chasteberry, with the goal of feminization or at least an increase hair growth on my scalp. I will update this review at a later date if these results become evident. Although I am happy to receive the numerous other benefits listed on many medical information sites. Ever since discovering BulkSupplements, I buy all my supplements here if it is available. The cost is so much more reasonable. I got so much more for my money and knowing that it is 100% pure means I don't have to try to figure out how much I'm actually getting for what I'm paying. Other supplement sources tend to combine it into blends and fillers and in my opinion that is only a means to dilute the product to inflate their profits. BulkSupplements powders always appear consistent quality, and uniform in color and texture. This gives me confidence in the quality of the source product.

Age had taken its toll, and I was finally about to seek medical attention for my pathetic urine stream. However, over the last 8 months, I used about 1/2 tablespoon of this saw palmetto extract in my coffee, every day. While the improvements occurred very slowly (initially raising questions as to whether or not they were even real), they now amount to an obvious and dramatic difference!

Switched over to this to save some money from a popular name brand bottled supply I had been buying last 2 years. That appeared to work, as prolonged use had allowed me to consistently sleep through the night without getting up to urinate. Starting taking this and 6 weeks in and starting early I'm completely back to square one in that regard. This is also the second product I've ordered from this company that came in a powder that looked/smelled nothing like every other bulk powder I've seen/tried (the other being cissus, which did absolutely nothing for me as well). As the saying goes - you get what you pay for. Which is no shocker here on product with no real regulation protection, and being something that is conveniently non refundable. Don't be duped in trying to save an extra buck.

Great product. Fill glass about a half inch of water. Measure and dump saw palmetto powder on top of the water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes or so add more water so that the mixture is mixed. Shotgun it down like your favorite beer and voila you're good. Saw palmetto doesn't taste bad at all. I do the same thing with turmeric not a big deal just chug it.

I like the taste, I bought it for prostate health seems to be more effective than the capsules probably because I ingest much more of it

Product was a white powder and NOT dark colored Saw Palmetto black berry color. Throwing it out. Had NO aroma as SP does.

This product is excellent at shrinking the prostate I now don’t have to get up in the night to wee it’s that’s good and all natural
