I bought this for my 3 year old to play with her siblings. It's hard to find games the other kids are willing to play with her and this seemed to be simple enough for her, yet engaging enough for the 9 and 10 year old. It was! First, they both had fun punching out the square "items". (I recommend storing them in a ziploc bag so they don't get lost.) The board was larger than I was expecting. My kids actually played! Together! Naming items and sorting by their use/location in the house. I liked that there were different play options, to make the game more challenging for my older kids if they wanted to play it with friends, and not with my 3 year old! My background in speech and language is compelling me to add that this is a great game for developing speech and language. There are so many ways this can be used therapeutically, both to encourage articulation and for categorization and other language/thinking skills. The price was not cheap, but worth it for a game that is well-made and seems sturdy enough to last even in my crazy house, where games tend to get wrecked pretty fast. High hopes for this one. The cardboard is thick, the pieces are sturdy. I think my kids will get to enjoy this game many, many times.

Cheaply made. The board ripped within a few days of use, and the blank tiles had a bunch of water stains. Grimy. Not very durable. The pictures on the tiles are tiny. I was bummed because it has good potential for SLPs -good for vocab, functions, prepositions, locations, turn-taking etc. I expected better quality for the price.

I just purchased this game. It is a well thought out game that teaches categories in an engaging and simple way. The graphics are clear and beautiful and you can use the elements of the game in a variety of ways. My children really enjoyed playing Kibbit Movers and I can't wait to introduce it to my speech-language therapy clients!

The game itself is high quality and heavy duty. Even the box is really nice. It was delivered quickly. The game board is very large, sturdy, with nice graphics and a smooth laminated finish. The punch out pieces are thick and the images are real photos of household items. I did have a problem with what I’m thinking might have been a “bad batch” in manufacturing though. The first game box I ordered looked beautiful, until I went to punch out the mini photographic object cards. Both thick card “sheets” were covered in a spray/splatter of what looked like brown cardboard muck that was permanently stuck to the pieces. A significant percentage of the photo card pieces were “sprayed” in this gunk. The blank pieces page was especially bad. Almost all of them were covered. It did not wipe or even scrape off with cleaner. I requested a replacement game box which came the next day. The second one had a dented corner on the otherwise super nice box. Bummer. The pieces were much better with significantly less gunky spray on them but there were at least 4 of the punch out pieces with images that had the brown cardboard looking gunk on them. Ultimately I decided to keep this second one but I am disappointed that such a nice game with such intentional and made-to-last construction started off with these weird (seemingly preventable) flaws. But I’d give the game itself 5 stars. Very nice and useful for speech/language therapy. Hopefully the manufacturers will figure out what caused these issues.

My students remained engaged and loved playing the game. Even my 5th graders enjoyed it. It provides so many language opportunities for their varying IEP goals. The quality is great the pieces are sturdy and will last me for years to come!
