Ramen: The Japanese-inspired cookbook packed with fresh and healthy recipes for home chefs

Well written, clear, and easy to follow recipes with great photos to support. Shame Amazon are incapable of delivering books in a presentable manner. 3rd time this has happened with a book from Amazon, it's shame on me at this point. So, great book, but order elsewhere if you want it in good condition.

Beautifully presented, very enticing Ramen book with lots of interesting recipes, clear and easy to understand. Was a gift and gratefully received.

Would make a fantastic gift. The book is full of stylised photos which would make anyone say wow when they come to flick through it for the first time. And of course the recipes deliver. The msg bomb that is the thick veggie soup is to die for. Which is a weird recommendation coming from a meat lover.

Fantastic book, written in a simple way with mouth-watering photos. All of the ingredients are described at the beginning so you know what to look for (although it would've been nice to see some western alternatives for ingredients you might not be able to find easily). We've tried a couple so far and now do ramen Saturdays - mind you we don't make the broth from scratch every time (although it is lovely!) because we're too lazy. Overall a lush book, definitely recommend.

Really found this book amazing. Everything you might want to make from scratch or use shop purchased. Both Japanese and UK equivalents are given in recipes. I'm glad I kept my pasta machine as I fancy trying at least once to make my own noodles. The extra notes above the recipes enhance the cooking experience. I, personally, see myself returning to this book on many occasions for inspiration and achievable meals.

Libro (tutto in inglese) chiaro e semplice anche per neofiti che si affacciano alla cucina nipponica: gli ingredienti vengono brevemente illustrati, così come gli accessori necessari per la preparazione dei piatti. Nella prima parte sono spiegate le preparazione di base (i diversi brodi, la pasta, etcc), mentre nella seconda parte sono presenti le ricette per comporre i ramen: a completamento vengono presentate altre specialità della cucina giapponese. Oltre alle ricette sono presenti alcune curiosità e delle belle foto arricchiscono il volume. La riuscita dei piatti dipende in gran parte dalla possibilità di recuperare i giusti ingredienti, mentre le preparazioni e le dosi sono dettagliate e di facile esecuzione. consigliato
