I recently picked up the HG Window Cleaning 500ml solution after getting fed up with streaky finishes and endless wiping with other products—and I’m so glad I did! This cleaner is incredibly effective and made the job quick and easy. Just a small amount mixed with water was enough to tackle all the windows in my house.What really impressed me is how effortlessly it cuts through dirt, smudges, and even tough marks left behind by rain and pollution. Best of all, it leaves no streaks—just perfectly clear, sparkling windows. It also doesn’t leave behind any sticky residue or overpowering scent, which is a bonus.

Was good and worked well with the window wash and wiper.

As a pensioner having cleaned thousands of windows with every comercial product available, I have never found a product that claims to leave glass "streak free" that lives up to the claim, until I used the HG cleaner. No matter how much I cleaned and buffed windows, when the sun is low, the streaks show! I came accross a bottle of HG window cleaner at the back of a cupboard that I purchased five years ago. I don't know why but this bottle says "interior" on the label. I tried it on both inside and outside of my windows and I have been very impressed with the results. I still have to buff the glass with a microfibre cloth once the glass has dried, but this stuff is the best I have used.

The glass was very dirty to being with having not been cleaned for a few years - a first flat which is difficult to access from the outside and I bought this cleaner combined with the Draper extendable sponge/ squeegee also sold on Amazon to access the full height of the window on the outside.Mixing the liquid was very simple and it had a good texture and cleaned the glass well on it's initial application. It was relatively easy to wipe down with the squeegee and left a very good finish. I did wipe over some marks with a microfibre cloth to finish, but this is likely due to my beginner technique or the squeegee than the cleaning liquid.There is little scent.The quantity provided is more than enough. I used hardly any of the bottle cleaning two very large windows so this will last a long time and will cover many windows.butThe biggest downside and reason for the 3 star review and not 5 star. The bottle arrived promptly, but when I opened the package the cap was cracked and half of it had fallen off inside the bag it was shipped in. Needless to say there was some spillage into the bag. Luckily I had a spare cap from a water bottle which I used to replace this with. Having contacted Amazon, they promptly issued a refund and were very efficient in doing so, but it must be asked - Why use such low quality packaging for a quality product? The plastic which the cap is made from is clearly not of a suitable quality.So in short, an excellent cleaner, will last you ages, easy to use but keep a spare plastic bottle cap handy in case the same happens to you. Or hopefully, the packaging will be improved due to this and another review with a similar experience.Photos included.

Oh my God, I got to say this stuff is absolutely amazing and a little bit goes a long way. I bought it because I keep using like a window spray to clean my windows and it really doesn’t work so I bought this as well as the window cleaning system with the sponge and blade it works wonders my windows look amazing And they have never been this shiny. They usually really smeary all the time no matter what I do, we’ll buy this again absolutely smear resistant great quality really good shine so happy.
