This bran seems to work better compared to others for me. Ferments seem somewhat faster and more “thorough” for lack of a better term. A little goes a long way. Bran has little to no smell, and the end product smells like it should. I did have 1 bag that started to mold over around 1/2 way through the bag. It appeared to be bokashi mold though. I continued to use the brand, and while it was more chunky, it worked very well.

This works for bokashi. My only problem is that the instructions are unclear about how much to use. I think it says to sprinkle it generously. But that isn't really helpful. I also put it in some compost of mine that had gone anaerobic and was emitting methane and after about a week plus some mixing, the compost seems to have become a lot healthier.

My friend turned me on to this product and it makes life so much easier. My scraps don't go to waste anymore and my garden is more self sustaining. I can tell my soil is full of nutrients and my plants are thriving. I also love that I can add this directly to my soil.

I have this on subscription. I have currently 5 dogs and live in the country. I use this to deal with their waste. I compost it down in an area we won't be using in the usual way only we don't use it for human consumption. We have lots of leaves so we layer everything including this Kashi and the compost piles are reduced to half size in a matter of a few days. I do also sometimes use the Kashi in my raised beds and I routinely use it in my regular garden compost pile. It's kinda expensive so I don't use as much of it as I would like to be honest. But there are visible differences in the compost.

Used it a couple times and was easy to spread on my soil, but then it started to clump up into a hard mass, broke some off, broke it up and used it, but was difficult to spread due to the clumps. Needed to apply more and opened the bag, there was mold growing all over the clump in the bag. The bag is store on a shelf in a cool dry basement with all my other organic amendments. I would not buy again or recommend for anyone to buy.

This is a great product! TeraGanix is legit! I am familiar with Professor Dr. Teruo Higa and his work with Effective Microorganisms. I'm so glad this product is available here on Amazon! I have multiple compost bins going on at home. I have a Hot compost bin, a worm bin, a compost tea brewer and now a bokashi compost. This stuff has a nice sweet smell and I feel like it's already at work in my compost. I've spread it in all of the bins and throughout the garden! Thank you for the great product!

this product was not good. it was stuck together in big clumps and full of white mold. I know the white mold is OK, but I have purchased many other bokashi bran that was not at all like this. I would not order this product again from this vendor

I used it to process my food scraps and collect liquid fertilizer—it worked great.
