Cat Grass

By any standards, I'm not good with plants/gardening or any other such growing thing. BUT, I'm going to be Chief Pet Sitter for someone's cat in the locality. I've heard about cat grass making a cat's day special (or, in fact every day for that matter). Cat Grass has come to the rescue. I've now grown 3 pots, each a week apart, and they've all grown like a dream. Easy-peasy. The stalks are a lovely fresh green colour, in fact I rather think I'd like them too if I was a cat (they look so very good). I've given the owner 2 small pots to 'introduce the idea' to Flat-Cat (he lives in an apartment block). Flat-Cat doesn't come here for another 4 weeks, so there'll be plenty more ready because growth rate is FAST. Plant and within a few days the green shoots are beginning to show. Success-rate so far 100% (and Flat-Cat hasn't even tried them yet).

This grew really quickly in a matter of days - I have an indoor cat and because she has diabetes, is constantly hungry and will eat tissues or anything she can find. She can safely eat this as it's natural for cats to do so and helps reduce fur balls. The instructions stated to plant sparingly but you just have individual shoots spread out, so I wouldn't - just put the pack in! I used a takeaway plastic box which was ideal. She has taken to it well and it's better than her trying to eat my house plants! Did the job for me and I would recommend it.

Grew really well- but my cat loved it so much he killed it all! 😂 I bought it for my house cat who won't go outside to give him a taste of the outside world, but unsupervised access to the tray off grass turned my cat a bit feral! He would dig into the mud and lay in it and chew the grass, he slept in it, distributed blades of grass (pulled lovingly up by the roots) about the house - I still find them, months later, and even once pooped in it!!!! But it made him very happy! I am going to buy some more but this time I think I shall give it to him at certain times only!

Shame there was only a small amount of product, you will require a few packs to grown a decent amount for your cats.

This is an excellent item, just what I wanted - plenty of seeds in the pack, easy to grow, the seeds germinated without issues. Fast delivery and great value for money overall. Now I just need my cat to show interest! :)

Whilst my cat ate the grass, I found one packet of seeds no where near enough for him and was disappointed at the lack of instructions given on the packet. Some of it grew back a second time but the majority of it died. I am unhappy as I had read such great things about it and I was looking forward for my cat to have something different and varied to keep him interested. He is a house cat and it is difficult to find items to keep his interest. I will try other products but this time make sure there is enough grass as shown on the outside of the packet, this is misleading as one packet would not give you that much coverage.

It was very easy to grow, germinated very quickly . All cats in the area loves it , keep finding them eating it. 😉 I don’t mind though we share. Good product. The only thing is if it’s anything could have been more seeds in the pack. It’s not very much.

The cats didn't think much of this, I would not bother to buy again, just hoping the usual one comes back into stock
