This 24W LED ceiling light provides very bright illumination. I am using it for the dinning area The whole thing is one piece so makes for less complications. It was easy to fix ...2 wire pieces and the video shows where they go. The clip on is sturdy and once up on the ceiling I do not see how it will fall. Good value for money as far as I am concerned.

This is very good value for money. Many of the pictures show a bayonet style fitting but the one supplied to me has a slide fitting with a catch to prevent unintentional removal. The light output is very good, both luminance - more like a 32W fitting - and colour. Altogether a good light. It is supplied with a terminal block connection that is deeper than the combination of space within the appliance and depth of the mounting clip. I had to drill a hole in the ceiling to hold the connection block. Hence 4 stars, not 5.

One of my rooms had a ceiling light with a 16 watt 2D bulb in it and the bulb failed so I looked for a replacement. Although these bulbs are still available, owing to new legislation they are no longer manufactured so a replacement one was no good for the long term, and so I decided to go for a LED ceiling light and chose this one. It is excellent and gives out much more light than the old 2D one did. It's easy to install but I did find that only one of the mounting holes for the baseplate lined up with those of the old light so had to drill a new hole in the ceiling in the correct place, making sure there were no hidden live wires where the new hole was to go. I switched off the electricity supply to the old light before starting on any work, and made sure that there really was no current in the wires to the light by using a voltage detector pen, the sort that lights up if a current is passing in the wire being tested. I would highly recommend that anybody doing any electrical work get one of these pens as they could be a life saver. Altogether, this new light is highly recommended.

Very bright just as I wanted. Very light weight. Easy to install. Quite sturdy.

My complaint about these are that there is very little space to put naturally inflexible cable where the design of these lights need it to go. I suspect as a fresh fit the problem would go away, but as a retrofit this was a PITA. Luckily is in my garage and so adding spacers above the unit wasn't an issue, and doesn't look odd/obvious. The light is very bright so functions very well. Overall happy with purchase. But air was blue when fitting!

The light unit itself is decent quality. Flimsy plastic for the diffuser but the body is solid enough. The wiring itself only requires the live and neutral so terminate your earth into a wago block or traditional block terminal. The mounting bracket though is a bit of a pain. Not impossible but very shallow and leaves no room for pre-existing connector blocks if you have cabling for switched lives below the ceiling. In this case, I used longer screws and placed spare M8 nuts between the ceiling and the mounting frame in order to provide room for the terminals. You can’t see them as the light is so large that it covers everything. A very good amount of even bright white light and overall I’m happy, especially for the price but I wouldn’t install this light in pride of place. It’s more a light for a utility or workspace as its basic and not decorative.
