Surprisingly great !
Fantastic headphones for the price! Pleasantly surprised, after owning the B&W P5 wireless I didn’t think these could compete, but I’m so happily impressed with these. I paid £180 for the P5s and they were pure luxury, they were quite boomy but warm and solid sound. They unfortunately were stolen. In my search for a cheaper replacement I came across these. I checked web reviews and they came up mostly very positive. And then when I saw the £69 price on Amazon I had to take a punt. Boy am I happy, they offer a beautiful natural sound. Warm, concise and clear delivery. Spacious presentation and timing. Not heavy bass but well controlled. I listen to Spotify all the time and can only imagine they will sound better with hi-res streaming on AZ HD and Tidal. These seem to pick up more detail and natural tone then the P5s costing 3 times mire. These are effortless at connecting to Bluetooth and automatically connect to my iPhone when switched on. I had to mostly manually connect all the time with the P5s. The last thing that won it for me, they are so comfortable to wear. I’m a glass wearer and these sit sweetly on the on the ears without causing any discomfort for long listening sessions. Absolutely delighted, no complaints and stunned with the value. Big thumbs up AKG.

Great quality headphones with great sound quality.
These are really good quality headphones, sound quality is great. My husband loves them. The only downside has been that the padded ears are not removable and are now really dirty from years of use.

Great sounding 'phones
Bought for my new train commute, these headphones are a joy to listen to - they aren't noise cancelling but they do a good job of shutting out background noise. That said, the main reason I'm so happy with them is the depth of sound they have - to think I was 'happy' with my iPhone ear buds previously. Well no more, that's for certain! Battery life seems good too - hardly charged since I received it and its been used daily. And of course the absence of cables is wonderful. Believe these have been superseded by a newer model - regardless of that, these are well worth investing in whilst still available.

Great sound but have design fault
Sound was very impressive & overall comfortable. Sadly they didn't last a week before the left-hand earpiece became detached from the headband. This seems a common fault reading the other reviews on here. Shame, I really liked these headphones but so many identical faults from other users, I just got my money back. Update: Oct'19 - just got some Cambridge Audio wireless in-ears....... Awesome! (But difficult to get the fit right)

Decent buy
Really good sound quality and stylish design - not a 10/10 for comfort but a solid pair of headphones! Love that you can swap between wireless and wired (helpful on flights) - also as soon as you turn them on the connect directly to your phone with no need to faff with settings!

Really nice sound... Shame really
This is a frustrating purchase for me, as I really really like these headphones. The sound quality is really good for the price and they are reasonably comfortable over short periods, less so over long ones. Noise cancellation is okay but I use these for commuting so it is useful not to have all noise blocked out. However, and this is a big however, the build quality of these phones leaves little to be desired. The cups are fitted into strange single-pronged brackets which feel sturdy enough but alas within a month of light wear the left cup of my product came away from the bracket, hanging off by the wire. The right cup still seems sturdy and the left can be balanced carefully on its original fitting, but often works it's way loose again. The headband is also not all that comfortable worn on head or around neck while not in use. All in all, great headphone sound with questionable quality control.

Excellent as all the HI-FI reviews say...
Having owned the Y50 Wired version, and also the K92, which I use for keyboard / sound recording, I expected the same quality from the Blue Tooth version, possibly even a little less, as a sacrifice to the fact it was Blue Tooth. However, no sacrifice, as 100% excellent in all respects. Great for spacial separation of instruments, beautifully deep and controlled base. Comfortable and well made. I read some of the bad comments first, before buying, and just cannot understand what people do to them, to make them break? Perhaps they were damaged in transit? Mine are perfect, and I am sure handling them with respect will give me years of good service.

Great Sound, Great Battery Life - But lacking in comfort.
As with all AKG products, the sound quality is great, with a balanced EQ and a great level of gain, meaning I never needed them louder than half volume, even on a noisy train. Bluetooth pairing is simple and just requires turning on the headphones and selecting 'pair' or 'connect' with the device. The microphone for phone calls is excellent too, providing good pick-up on your voice and separation from the environment. Battery lasts for a very long time and the audio cable can always be plugged in to continue use. I can't say I ever use the buttons on the side to answer calls or change volume as it is quite difficult to work out which one you are pressing when none of them are textured, or even remotely different from the power button. The one issue I have is a fairly big one. They are quite uncomfortable over long periods of time. Around an hour, you won't notice this problem, but longer than that, the fixed width position of the headband applies a lot of pressure to your ears which can leave them sore and tender. I would recommend them as a purchase if you are after good value bluetooth headphones, but if these are going to be your only pair for long trips or work, I'd recommend trying them out for a long period within the return window, just in case they give you the same irritation they gave me.
