How strong are these springs? Are there any that need a decent amount of force put on them before they compress?

The box contains various sizes of extended and compression springs, the strongest compression spring is 9.1 mm dia x 34.9 mm long, it depends on what the spring is for, i use them in radio controlled vehicles and find them quite strong for the purpose. hope this helps.

The spring's don't come with any data. You would have to put each spring on a 'spring tester' to find out.
