The best SDS drill bits for DIY!
I have had the Makita sds drill bits for more than a year and they have always been my go to for drilling into brick and concrete. What I love about it is the sharpness of the drill bits. The drilled holes are always clean and because of its sharpness it is really easy to drill through hard material. Totally recommend!

Using These Feels Like Cheating
It's good to find a set of SDS+ drill bits in these smaller sizes, to complement the hefty ones that came bundled with my drill. I ordered these because I was bored of trying to drill into brick or concrete with my "normal" power drill in hammer mode, which usually involved leaning my full bodywoeght against the drill, pushing as hard as I could and taking several minutes to drill each hole, if the brick or stone was particularly stubborn. And always worrrying that I might burn the drill out, as it also got pretty hot. With the power of an SDS drill behind them, these babies go through brick, stone, concrete so easily it feels like cheating. Literally about 2 seconds to drill a hole deep enough to slap in a Rawlplug. If you've got an SDS+ drill and ever need to drill smallish holes using masonry bits, you need to get some of these. You'll never reach for your normal power drill to put fixings into walls again.

One of those things you know, get good drill bits, but until you do, its not easy to justify the price difference, these are a bit more expensive, but work !
