Absolutely love this. It’s beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for as far as quality and ease of cleaning. The book of recipes it came w is awesome too!

We were looking for wider mouth, shallow, stone based mortar-pestle. This fits the bill perfectly, bit expensive but worth it in our opinion. We do have smaller, narrow mouth high mortar but certain recipes we indulge in on frequent basis called for newer buy such as this one. shipped well packed and delivered before promise date, kudos to Amazon.We recommend this product and seller.

Solid, I like to put it in the freezer before use.(make sure it is completely dry when you do this otherwise it may Crack.) I only use it for guacamole. After smashing the avacado. I mix squeezed lime, cilantro, red onion. When the base of the mortar gets cold enough it keep your guacamole cold all dinner long. I dont reccomended storing any guacamole in this mortar overnight.

I really like this mortar and pestle. It's a good size, bigger than most offered. Minimal seasoning required, and a good weight. Recommended

Je doutais un peu au début mais vraiment très surprise par la qualité de cet article. Un très bon poids, il reste à sa place... le pilon se manipule comme un charme peu importe la grandeur de vos mains; testé par toute la famille ! Il fait également un super centre de table si on a peu de place pour le rangement ;-)

Beautiful for guacamole. Followed the clear seasoning instructions before using the first time. Makes for great presentation and nice enough to leave on counter when not in use

It's big and heavy. Nice to see something not made out of plastic. Kind of slow to use but does the job it's been doing for thousands of years.
