Feels solid yet it’s not heavy to use. Love the suction function, not only picks up the rivets but also positively ejects the pin into the cup so you don’t have to tilt the gun after each rivet.

I'm revising my original review and rating from one star to four. The company sent me another rivet gun which actually functions just like the first one did. I first used the gun in a tight space where there wasn't room for the rivet shank catcher. Without the catcher the gun vents a large volume of air out of rear port in order remove pop rivet shanks. I first thought that this was a defective internal seal and gave a bad review. My bad review prompted an email and phone call from the company with an offer to replace the gun. I was surprised and must say that they really wanted to fix the problem and make sure that I was satisfied with their product. I discussed my issues with the service person and found out: 1) the large volume of air was a normal function of the gun and is controlled by closing a slide valve just above where the air hose connects to the gun. I noted that with the catcher installed the gun did vent less air to where it wasn't a big deal. Operation of the slide valve wasn't clearly mentioned in the instructions. 2) the gun comes with a little syringe in the box for adding oil to the gun but the instructions don't say that the gun comes pre-oiled and filling isn't necessary. Confusing. The instructions come with an exploded parts diagram but no list of parts or part numbers or when and where to add oil and how to tell when it is full. The instructions provide metric specifications and sing the praises of the gun but provide little useful information. I would give the gun 5 stars if it came with useful instructions. I would encourage people to call there customer service before returning the gun.

I had a different brand and I had nothing but problems from the start. This one is leagues above the one you typically see for cheap. Excellent product! Very Happy!

5 stars for quality and usefulness 1 star for access to replacement parts The unit was dropped by an employee. This behavior should be expected. The mandrel collection cup plastic broke. I have tried to find a replacement and reached out to the company through Amazon with no luck. I may have to 3D print one.
