Very nice wood incense burner cabin made out of clay, wonderful 'woodburning fireplace smell'
I took a chance on this product not knowing the dimensions of it. It measures 3.75" long x 2.5" high x 2.5" deep. The cabin is a very nice fired clay material that is heavy for the size and seems high quality. The picture made it look like it would be glass or porcelain so I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be clay...very uncommon and seems very natural. The cabin comes in two pieces: the bottom plate that the incense is placed on, and the top plate (the actual cabin) that rests on it once the incense has been started burning. The incense (a 20-brick pack of Pinon incienso de Santa Fe natural wood incense): I grew up in a house that has a wood-burning fireplace and this smells EXACTLY like that (for those that may remember). I now plan on buying the sampler package to try them all out. I highly recommend these products - the best $11 I've spent in a while lol :) Only one tip: following the directions for the incense...this is real wood and must be treated like real wood when burning it or it will go out. I found it works best to use a lighter on one end of it or about 30 seconds twisting the incense around and once it is going set it on the plate and blow on it for a while to 'stoke it' like a fire (longer than is normally needed for stick incense.) After about a minute, it will stay burning. Enjoy!!!! This stuff is pretty cool and would make an excellent little gift for anyone that enjoyed the good old days with actual wood-burning fireplaces in houses and/or campfires. It is a nice idea because you can enjoy the campfire smell even in the winter inside your house (even if you don't have a wood-burning fireplace). I'm contemplating buying a few of these for Christmas presents now lol

Perfect for those who love Western decor and want to burn brick incense blocks
This is fabulous little burner for brick-style incense. I bought it to replace a similar one I had lost during my last move, and the quality on this one matches up with my old burner. I love the painted detail on the door and chimneys; I don't think my old one had that and this frankly looks better than what I recall of my former one. I love the smell of the blocks, as well as the redwood style bricks. Just a heads up, though, the bricks are pretty small, and can be hard to ignite and get positioned correctly all the time. Unlike incense sticks which are free standing and easy to light, these usually have to be held in your hand to light, and then you blow or wave it to get it going, and have to stand it upright inside the cabin. It's nothing super hard, but it can still be a bit tricky, especially if you are using matches and are trying to get the brick to catch before the match burns down to your fingers. One final note: the box it comes in has a very fun design on it, and can be displayed as a piece of western art all on its own. My mom is very big into Western decor, and she put the box on our fireplace mantle, alongside other western and vintage items. A nice little bonus!

Wonderful stuff - reminds me of a campfire
My girlfriend introduced me to Paine's incense with their wooden cabin burner and I have been a big fan ever since. I use the burner very frequently and the wood picks up resins from the incense and the constant heat of the burning cones dried out and cracked the wood. I needed something more durable, and I found this ceramic cabin. I was cautious about the pinon incense because I don't like the Paine's version of the pinon incense (I LOVE the cedar). I tried Santa Fe's version of the pinon, and I LOVE it. To me it's reminiscent of beachfires or outdoor campfires. The cedar incense reminds me more of a fireplace. If you like Santa Fe's incense, I would encourage you to try Paine's cedar cones. The cabin is great - make sure you have the bottom plate set up correctly - those little nubs need to be facing up to allow airflow (just line up the door with the steps and you'll be fine.) Like any kind of wood incense, it takes a bit of time to get this incense burning correctly - hold a lighter to the edge and get it burning, blow on it to establish a "cherry," set it carefully in the slot in the cabin floor (it's very hot), and Bob's your uncle. I would highly recommend this burner and incense for anyone who likes the ambiance of a campfire.

It's so cute!
I really like this little burner, it's adorable, it works like it says it will, and it comes with some starter insense. Just so you know, though, this is a tiny little burner (I'll put up some photos for scale). I went and ordered full size insense sticks for this when I should have bought some cones or some bricks, like it came with. The smoke isn't as obvious as it is in the picture, but if you look, you can see it. I was surprised how well it scented my room for being such a tiny little thing. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Hands down hand on heart best fireplace scent and smoker for the money.
Hands down, hand on heart best fireplace scent and smoker for the money. I have searched high and low, bought the candles, the melting waxes, the oils and vaporizers and can say that this simple solution was all I needed to make my electric fireplace smell like the real deal. Convenient, simple solution making real smoke and scent from real trees in small portions filling the entire room with Smokey goodness. I don't own the company our have any ties, have NOT been paid for an endorsement or received the product free or at a reduced rate. This is hands down the BEST AND ONLY option as a former fireplace owner and discerning consumer for that one of a kind smell that drives me batty. Nothing comes close, period! The others options are liquid smoke meets pine, perfume meets creosote, Christmas tree candle spice and cinnamon are all a distant memory for me and lots of money down the drain chasing the dream of a real fire smell. Accept only wood scent incense and you will thank me for all the time, money and energy wasted on other solutions. You don't have to buy the creative and cute log cabin like I did but it looks very cute sitting on top of my fake modified dimplex electric fireplace stove with heat with my battery powered crackle box (See review) and now the 4 senses effect scent and smoke. I'm in heaven.

Tiny Log Cabin
Fast service. Looked just like the picture. I was disappointed in the size, thought it would be larger. The description did not give any dimensions. A previous poster gave the dimensions, so I won't give them here. So far, have only tried the Pinon scent that came with it, although I also ordered other fragrances. Pinon bricks smell like a wood burning fire, even burns your eyes if you don't have any ventilation. Looks cute with both chimenys smoking. Probably would not recommend for the price.

Wonderful item, would be a great gift
I saw one of these in Roswell, NM a year or two ago and passed it up. I have not been back since and have been looking all around for this item. Funny thing is this product is made right here in Albuquerque! Only a couple miles from where I work. So the good news is the item and the included cones are AMERICAN made and appear to be high quality. The little house is fired clay so it should hold up to years of use with no problem and It is packed extremely well. I plan on buying some for gifts later this year. The little bricks burn for about 20-30 minutes and put sout sufficient smoke to give a pleasant scent but not be overbearing. The top of the house does get warm, the base is of sufficient thickness that I would not be concerned of it starting a fire as long as you put the cabin in a stable location. The supplied bricks are Piñion (Southwestern hard pine) and smells great. The little sample box has an important bit of instruction to note. After you start the brick set it UPRIGHT in the cabin for best results.

Exactly as expected
This little cabin is awesome and works wonderfully. Granted, there's no high technology here. Just a smartly crafted little clay house that gives me a place to burn piñon pine incense that takes me back the Grand Canyon with a single whiff. Ahhh, the smell of that wood burning in the lobby fireplace of the El Tovar is just heaven and this little cabin recreates it impeccably. Priced right, packed well and performs as expected. Buy one. And also get yourself to the Grand Canyon for real. There's nothing like it. Millions of stars above you on a cool fall evening, quiet like a graveyard at midnight and beauty like you can't imagine.
