I use this for nature photography, portrait photogtaphy and for creating videos on my cell phone and DSLR. It takes up such a small footprint when used indoors. I absolutely love it! It is both light and sturdy. I highly recommend the iFootage Cobra 3 monopod for Photography and Videography.

I watched a lot of videos on monopods before purchasing this one and the overwhelming consensus was that this is life changing and wonderful. It has certainly been a game changer for me when it comes to reducing motion blur and helping with sharper images. If you have a small camera on it, it can even hold itself up straight like a tripod for a mintier if you need to quickly grab something else. The sturdiness is amazing. The carbon fiber doesn’t get too cold. It is easy to change the height. A few downsides, keep something on you to help get sand out of where it attaches to the monopod and locks because that will prevent a perfect lock and my nice camera and telephoto lens has fallen due to that. Also, be mindful of how heavy it is. If you already have a heavy camera and cannot realistically add 3lbs comfortably then you need to purchase a monopod head to help track wildlife that is changing heights, etc. otherwise this was a wonderful purchase. I’ve tested it on many terrains and it has held up splendidly. I hope to have this one for life.

This monopod is really good, i can have my A7V with big lens and v mount stand its own and never fall for days.

1. I have a heavy camera Nikon Z9 and some long lenses. This stand is not stable enough to hold a heavy camera with a large lens. It should work better with a lighter camera and smaller lenses 2. The adapter that connects the camera with the stand needs to be improved. Once, I felt that the camera was clipped to the stand but it was not. I almost dropped the camera. 3. The stand has ordinary finish. 4. The ball rotation at the bottom is hard to use.

Amazing monopod with all the bells and whistles. Durable, functional, aesthetically pleasing. All around great product.

It is light weight, and taking off the base I can use as a walking cane while moving in the field. The sturdy base is great and can be used as a stand alone part with the camera attached.

With nature you often have to walk for quite a while. I used to do my work with a very sturdy tripod with a gimbal head. However it was too heavy a setup to carry for too long. I got this monopod, on which I put a Wimberley gimbal especially designed for monopods. I love this gear. The monopod is a solid piece of equipment. Being made with carbon fiber it's very light and easy to carry around. Very high quality.
