Simply one of the best arcade games ever made I think if it was released today for the first time it would cause just as much fuss..

The Final Challengers is a fantastic revival of a classic! The updated graphics and new features like two-player co-op add fresh excitement. The only downside is motion controls feel a bit gimmicky.

Best version of SF2 I have played (I had it on the SNES in 1992) add in online battles and 2 player on the go with joy cons and it's an absolute no brainer for dedicated SF2 fans. I've played through the arcade, looked through the art book, had about 20 online matches (of which 2 or 3 suffered lag, the others were fine - nearly everyone is fighting as Ryu at the moment so learn how to combat his move set) and a few games with a mate. There has been a lot of people complaining about the price, to be honest I have no issue as it's a fantastic version, looks incredible on the Switch screen and is a stone cold classic. If you are new to Street Fighter I urge you to give it a try - this is gaming history. I haven't tried the gimmicky Way of the Hado mini game but have heard bad things so no strong desire to whilst I'm having so much fun playing online. It looks stunning on the TV and very crisp on the Switch screen, I've had no issues with the controls either - pull off 99% of my dragon punches with joycons. I'm a very happy SF2 veteran - and after all these years there is still so much to learn with this game. Just when you think you're good some one comes and destroys you using Zangief or Deejay and you have to totally switch up your game (no pun intended) Enjoy folks

An absolutely fantastic Street Fighter game for the Switch.Recommended for any fan of the great Street Fighter games and it's portable.

Still a great game but has a few issues. - Joycon isn't ideal but its manageable after a bit of time. Changing button config helps also. In two player its nigh on impossible to play accurately. I have been using the Mario kart wheels which makes life alot easier. - updated art version is ok but edges look rough and pixelated. Seems lazy especially since they're about 10 years old. - Ryu, Ken, Evil Ryu, Violent Ken and Akuma are technically all variations of the same character. I wish to counter this they has added a few others. - I've been experiencing some bad lag online. I have a very fast connection also. - price is questionable. It's worth it maybe for play on the go but that's it. - gallery is nice but still not done that well - colour edit is cool but still could've been better. Reviewers complaining by how slow editing is you're supposed to use the touch screen. - I played hado mode once for 2 mins. Won't again. Wish they had spent the time developing extra characters instead of this. - no bonus stages?! - not played buddy mode as it seems pointless. Tag mode would have made more sense. To sum up. Great playing it again since last time was on the mega drive champ edition about 20 odd years ago and its certainly better than that. Just feel this is a very very lazy port and it shows. This would have been acceptable for £20. For £35 alot more should have been on offer.

Great game for any classic street fighter fan. Once people get over the price which I think could have been slightly better than the £29.99 I paid for it, the game itself is classic street fighter with a few modes added on. Way of the hado mode is a cheap tack on but the dramatic battle and classic modes are great for any fighting game/street fighter fan. I really enjoyed this game and will continue to play for a long time coming

J’aime beaucoup ce jeu. Ultra Street Fighter II, c’est clairement le jeu de nos enfances sur Super Nintendo ! On retrouve les graphismes, les sons et l’ambiance d’époque, tout en profitant d’une version modernisée sur Switch. C’est fluide, nostalgique et toujours aussi fun à jouer, surtout à deux. Un vrai plaisir de replonger dans ce classique intemporel.

Ich habe mir die UK-Version geholt und sie funktioniert einwandfrei auf meiner deutschen Konsole. Das Spiel ist der perfekte Prügelknabe für unterwegs. Der neue ‚Buddy Battle‘-Modus, in dem man zu zweit gegen einen Computergegner kämpft, macht extrem viel Spaß. Die Online-Lobby ist stabil und man findet schnell Gegner. Für Street Fighter-Veteranen ist dieses Spiel ein absoluter Pflichtkauf für die Sammlung
