The kilo bag stands about 20" high and 12" across so I'm guessing to stuff them firmly, you might need two but it is very good quality stuffing which I use for making toys

Is this product good enough to plump up some old cushions that I have?

I find it excellent for stuffing knitted and crocheted toys. It is very light and I use quite a bit for each toy. You may find that you will need a lot to stuff cushions. If you are adding to the stuffing already in the cushion then it would be alright. It is really good and doesn't 'clump' and is good value for money. I hope this answers your question.
