Could I use this to feed tropical fish ,e.g guppies and platies and would it be ok for a automatic feeder

I personally think granules are too big for that type of fish. The best food for guppies and platies is tetramin.

Would these be suitable for feeding a dwarf frog?

Yes should be fine as they sink to the bottom. Would also give them bribe shrimp

i have guppys, and the granules i have are too big for there little mouths, the ones i have are 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm.in size, are these smaller than that,

Hi there. Yes - these are tiny granules so would be totally fine for guppies. Even small fry will be able to manage these.

Do these float on the surface for a few seconds? I need it for hatchetfish surface feeders.

They do indeed. Not for long but for a few seconds and they are small granules.
