Ergostrip Universal Stripping Tool for Right-Handers, 135 mm, Round Cable, Coax Cables, Data Cables, Wire Stripper, 16 95 01 SB

I wonder if this is made for American Market or another country as with flex its cuts all the way to the copper conductor from outer sheath then knicks the insulation, plus flat t+e doesn't fit .the strip down side slice again cuts too deep you end up having conductor copper showing. I tried different pressure but in the end went back to side cutters. The best thing is the end stripper inside but would I pay for just that bit . Nope ........ nicely made but not going in my tool bag

Product was great until I went to use it this morning and the blade on the side that is used to slice the cable has fallen out so is now useless.

Worked well for 2 months then the blade stopped cutting the cable. It’s a bit disappointing that you can’t change the blade or adjust the blade.

Would not recommend 😕 its waste of money. The teeth that slice the cable down the middle came out with stripping 3 flexishield cable.

As a professional electrical engineer I was keen to try this tool, I've tried similar in the past but none have worked successfully. With so many great reviews I thought this might be the one..... The main problem I have with it is that I can ring the cables but not slit then lengthwise, the slitting hole is too big and not adjustable. I'm working on various size of cables and this tool will not do what I need, the main problem is it's not adjustable.

Bought this as a wire stripper, the blade on the side to run a cut length ways on a cable was the selling point for me. Arrived less than 10 minutes ago and its broken in the box… This was posted broken as the piece which should be there isn't in the box.

I was always wanted to buy this but was not sure till I bought and just tried to use once and it was not effective as they saying and not sharp enough.. it did just worked for tiny cable less than 1mm

The product broke within 30 days. I contacted on day 31 as it was a gift so wasn't used the day purchased. The item was used a handful of times and broke. Very disappointing for the price paid.

Bei der Elektrik-Nachrüstung in unserem Eigenheim habe ich mich mit dem Abmanteln der NYM-Leitungen anfangs noch mit einem einfachen Messer und viel Vorsicht durchgekämpft, immer mit der latenten Sorge, versehentlich die Aderisolierung mit einzuschneiden. Nach ein paar unschönen Momenten habe ich mir das KNIPEX ErgoStrip geholt, und das war eine der lohnendsten Werkzeuganschaffungen für mein Elektrik-Projekt. Funktionsweise Das Prinzip ist genial einfach: Kabel einlegen, Griff zusammendrücken, ziehen – fertig ist der abgemantelte Leitungsabschnitt, ohne dass man die Innenadern beschädigt. Der Pistolengriff liegt gut in der Hand und lässt sich, wie beworben, tatsächlich aus verschiedenen Winkeln bedienen, was bei beengten Platzverhältnissen in tieferen Unterputzdosen oder Verteilerkästen ein echter Vorteil ist. Vielseitigkeit im Praxiseinsatz Ich habe das Werkzeug sowohl bei der 5-adrigen NYM-Mantelleitung für die Wechselschaltung im Flur als auch bei dünneren Datenkabeln in meinem Netzwerkschrank eingesetzt, und in beiden Fällen funktioniert es zuverlässig. Die integrierte Abisoliervorrichtung mit den verschiedenen Querschnitten von 0,2 bis 4 mm² macht das zusätzliche Abisolieren einzelner Adern ebenfalls unkompliziert, sodass man nicht ständig zwischen mehreren Werkzeugen wechseln muss. Präzision und Sicherheit Die Positionierstege im Inneren sorgen dafür, dass das Kabel sauber sitzt, bevor man den Griff zusammendrückt, und die konisch verjüngten Enden kommen auch an schwer zugänglichen Stellen gut heran. Anders als beim Messer hatte ich seitdem keine einzige beschädigte Ader mehr, was gerade bei sicherheitsrelevanter Elektroinstallation beruhigend ist. Auch für kleinere Projekte praktisch Ein Reststück eines dünneren Kabels aus meiner 3D-Druck-Werkstatt habe ich ebenfalls damit abgemantelt, um eine Verkabelung für ein kleines Steuerpult zu realisieren – auch bei dünneren Litzen funktioniert das Werkzeug sauber und ohne Nacharbeit. Kleiner Hinweis Für reine Gelegenheitsnutzer, die vielleicht einmal im Jahr ein Kabel ablängen, ist der Preis im Vergleich zum klassischen Messer natürlich höher. Wer aber regelmäßig mit Elektroinstallationen zu tun hat, bekommt hier ein Werkzeug, das sich durch Zeitersparnis und Sicherheit schnell rentiert. Fazit Ein durchdachtes, präzises Abmantelungswerkzeug, das die früher mühsame und riskante Arbeit mit dem Messer komplett ersetzt. Für alle, die regelmäßig selbst an der Elektrik arbeiten, eine klare Empfehlung.

La prima volta che ho provato questo spela cavi ho avuto problemi perché il prodotto era difettoso, ma quello che ho provato ora è perfetto. Il prodotto è assolutamente valido, comodo, funzionale, di qualità ed assolutamente facile da utilizzare grazie alla sua forma simile a quella di una pistola che rende la presa ottimale durante l’utilizzo. La parte anteriore, utilizzabile sbloccando il pulsante blu, è davvero efficiente e non è necessaria alcuna pressione al fine di spelare i cavi in quanto basta semplicemente posizionare il cavo sui taglienti, fare presa sulla parte sporgente posta al centro dello spela cavi e su cui è presente il grip blu, ruotare una volta verso destra ed una verso sinistra, pinzare qualche millimetro indietro rispetto al punto in cui si è tagliato il cavo ruotando, tirare muovendo leggermente il cavo su e giù ed il gioco è fatto. Ho spiegato tutto alla moviola al fine di darvi un’idea di come funzioni questo eccellente spela cavi, e vi garantisco che basteranno pochi minuti per comprendere alla perfezione il funzionamento. Nella zona laterale dello spela cavi è possibile lavorare su cavi con spessori minori: 0.2 - 0.3 - 0.8 - 1.5 - 2.5 - 4.0 Al centro, dove è presente la sporgenza con sopra il grip blu, vi è una micro lama con la quale è possibile, posizionando un cavo a mo’ di pinza, spelare i cavi longitudinalmente. Questo spela cavi è semplicemente eccellente, e dato che ne sono totalmente soddisfatto non posso che consigliarvi assolutamente questo prodotto. Knipex 16 95 01 Voto 10 su 10 !!!
