Still not a screw top. Now I have one empty sarsons glass jar, one full plastic sarsons jar and one full sarsons refill massive bottle. All useless though clearly this one I can use until it becomes empty and once more useless. Sarsons you are AWFUL for the environment

This is NOT refillable!!! I bought this some time ago & it had a screw top. I thought I’d buy one for my son who lives in Singapore believing it was the same as mine, but the design has changed & no longer has a screw top!! Very annoying. Might send it back, as this is expensive for a single use item & not very eco friendly!

This is a great traditional vinegar, which always reminds me of going to a good fish and chip shop. A few months ago I bought an 'artisan vinegar' for several times the price of Sarsons. I wrote in my review of that, that it was inferior to good traditional vinegar like this. I shall not be repeating my mistake in spending over the odds on an 'artisan' product!

Like many others I was disappointed when Sarsons started using non refillable bottles. I used to top up either from a Sarsons catering size bottle or, admittedly, from the local supermarket's own brand which is probably why Sarsons changed the design. This plastic bottle goes back to the old days & has a screw top which means it can be refilled with vinegar of your own choice. This type is still used in cafes & pubs & is a good substitute for the earlier models.

I ordered a few of these for friends and one for myself. The Sarsons plastic vinegar bottle had previously been admired and coveted by said friends during visits to a regular lunchtime haunt when chips were on the menu, and the bottle was declared to be elusive in supermarkets, or anywhere else for that matter. As ever, Amazon to the rescue! The pleasure these appealingly retro bottles gave was seriously disproportionate to the outlay; they are easily refillable and, as another reviewer noted, already contain vinegar. What's not to love?!

The best malt vinegar I've ever tried!!! Delicious on fries and fish!!! I highly recommend it!!!

I grew up with this. Only kind I buy for fish and chips. Malt vinegar has a milder flavour than regular vinegar and doesn't overpower the fish (unless you use too much). However, this bottle used to have a removable top to allow for refilling. This looked like it should in the picture, it did not. Perhaps it should state this in the description. Someone in the reviews said theirs did have a removable top, mine didn't. This was the reason I gave it a five rating.

My favorite malt vinegar. Goes perfectly with fish and French fries. Even on peas they r delicious.
