Tether Tools TetherPro Cable USB 2.0 A/MiniB 5 Pin 4.6 m Orange [CU5451]

Having used some cheap arse cables before and having them fail during a photo session I decided to spend a bit of money on a decent cable. I've seen numerous pros use these so I figured it must be good. I must admit this is a great cable. doesn't drop out in there middle of a session and Lightroom picks it up quite quickly. I'm currently using the new Mac Studio base model and have had no connection issues what so ever. There's a few people on here giving negative reviews and I can only put it down to connections on their camera or using Windows OS. As a Mac user I have had no issues with this cable, it's robust, sturdy and great value for money. Ive used cheaper brands and paid the price and if a customer is paying you for a session then you need reliability and this cable fits the bill.

Purchased this for studio and commercial photography projects. I hear a lot from new photographers say that these cable are quite expensive, but having worked in the industry for a while now i can appreciate the quality of material and the effort that goes into making these. These are extremely high performance cables that are often assembled and test by hand to get the results we get on the field. Therefore i can't knock the products value on that assumption. My only grip is that the "Tether stopper" should've been included at no extra cost to prevent the cable from coming out if tripped over. With that said if you want to improve the level of your commercial work and control the quality of the images created this is an absolute must in industry.

Kinda of the things that every photographer would need one at some point of their career/hobby. Can't deny the fact that it's really very expensive. First tethering cable that I've ever bought, and hopefully the only one. So haven't got another chance to compare with other brands.

Purchased especially for my Event Photography. The connectors are of a very high quality and the orange colour helps the cable to very very visible, reducing the possibility of people tripping over it. My only niggle is that the "Tether stopper" could be included and not as an optional extra... Seriously, it's not optional... We need it.

The tether tools Tether Pro cable is probably the industries most used USB tethering cable, we see these orange beauties everywhere (also available in black, like all handy trip wires). Its well insulated against interference, its bright orange so people see it on set and it just works. Like most things in my bag, its there because it works when needed.

I have used a cheap usb cable for a year or so now but always aspired to get a Tether Tool cable as it seemed like all the professionals use them. I work as a pro portrait photographer so I like to think I know my stuff. I have to say I was disappointed with the Tether Tool cable. It was significantly slower than the cheap cable I have been using and when the connection is lost, eg the cable falls out of the camera, it takes a long time to reconnect with Lightroom which is not great when I have a client waiting to be photographed. Comparing against the cheap usb cable I would say twice as long on the same Macbook to reconnect. I don't wish to be negative but overall I was disappointed and decided to return the cable.

普通にストレスなく使用することができました。 ケーブルの長さもスタジオ等で使用するのに十分な長さがあり、取り回しもし易い。まさに適正な長さだと感じました。

This cable is bright orange, so easy to see, even in low light conditions. It was surprising ho easy this was to tether my PC to my Canon 77D. Just plug it in and open the Canon interface software. It started working immediately. Photo transfers are now about 2 seconds. WIFI transfers of the same photo size takes 8-10 seconds. I guess I'm going to be using a tether cable more often. Just waiting on the Tether Cable extension now, due tomorrow.

I have asked tetherpro cable to be fitted to Nikon D750..but the delivered cable doesn't not fit.. already returned once..but same useless item delivered again hence want to return and get refund
