I am in love with this totally analog old-fashioned device! It is so simple that I can't imagine it ever breaking! I joined a gym with a walking track, but you have to do 12 laps per mile. I don't have 12 fingers, so counting laps was annoying. (Especially when I worked my way up to 4 miles!) This wonderful gizmo works GREAT, and it's kind of fun!! (I'm easily amused.) It is made of sturdy metal, with a little wheel you turn to reset the counter. It even comes with a lanyard.

Does the job. Mechanical so no worries about batteries. Metal construction, seems it will hold up a while

Works great if you remember to push the button. I don’t always remember even after 4 months. I don’t love reset button, too easy to go past 0000 so you have to start over.

This is a great counter with 2 ways to hold it . It is sturdy , metal, and needs no batteries. It is easy and fast to reset to zero. Who needs technology?

This clicker is exactly what I needed to count large audience numbers with some degree of accuracy. You would think that you could just count people but it's harder than expected. With the counter, you can just keep pressing the lever and just focus on the people in front of you. It's sturdy, easy to use, easy to reset, and comes with a cord to keep it on you. There's no battery for this item; it's a mechanical action and I've been using it for the past several months and it's very durable. Kids love playing with it too. In fact, using it has greatly improved my ability to estimate large sections of people. If you are working any sort of large event, it's a must-have.
