Great to make different combinations of colors
These colors are delicious! I wanted a smoky palette, and this fit the bill. They have just the right amount of shimmer, and also include some matte colors. I ended up buying another palette by Laura Geller, Soho Shimmers, which also have incredible colors. The only thing is that there is not a lot of pigment in the eyeshadows, so it doesn’t go on as dark as it looks in the palette. Still, the effect is really nice, and it has become my favorite eyeshadow palette. I like that I can create a variety of looks depending on my mood and what image I want to project.

Great eyeshadow!
I have finally found shades that work for me! The packaging is great, I travel a lot and this is perfect. It goes on smoothly and seems to last all day. The variety of colors allow you great flexibility. There is some with some shine if you want to dress it up, or matte to town it down. Laura teller has the best products!

Great value!
I haven't had new eye shadow in a long time and this palette offers so many colors and the price was very reasonable. I haven't used it yet but it looks very nice. I received it very quickly. I know it did not say it included a brush but that would be a nice addition.

I wanted to love it, but an ingredient made me hate it.
So much to say here. The palette is absolutely beautiful. The colors are rich and gorgeous. I was so excited when I opened the box. I was very excited to try the eyeshadows out. As I was opening the box I saw the ingredient list just on the end of the box and I thought, well, I’ll read it. You see, I get a severe reaction to a particular preservative/biocide. But that product is normally only used in products that contain water, of which these dry eyeshadows do not contain water. However, as I made my way down the list, to my horror, I saw the dreaded ingredient. PHENOXYETHANOL. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was so incredibly disappointed. There are other companies who have arbitrarily added this ingredient for no reason other than it’s the most popular preservative/biocide used today and it’s not even necessary for dry products that don’t contain water. Water is the culprit. I used to use a well known face powder that was wonderful with simple ingredients and then they had a formula change and they added Phenoxyethanol to it, so I could no longer use their product. Thank goodness I didn’t try to use the shadows and then later discover after having an allergic blowup and probably would’ve had to have cancel my trip out of state for a family wedding. The reaction I get is so severe that it goes systemic and lasts in my body for weeks with intense, full body itching, redness, scaling, ect. Honestly, I look like an alien in sheer misery. I’ll be having a chat with the Laura Geller company and ask them why in the world they’re using this ingredient when there are alternatives, especially for dry products. I so wanted this to work for me. For those of you who do have a sensitivity to Phenoxyethanol, I highly recommend this eye shadow based on first impression. It’s simply beautiful. I definitely would give it five stars for the presentation, the cardboard box (because it’s more environmentally friendly) and the colors are gorgeous. From my standpoint, with the preservative in it, I give it a one star. So that’s why I’m giving it three stars or 2 1/2 really.

Not bad
Not thrilled with the durability/wear of this product. I wanted to love it. The shades are very pretty and love the size of the palette. Especially for travel. It is an ok value for money. Would love to see a richer transfer.

Beautiful, Versatile Eyeshadow Palette
As a 59-year-old, I’ve tried eyeshadows ranging from drugstore brands to Lancôme, but I never noticed a significant difference until I tried Laura Geller’s The Delectables Timeless Tones Eyeshadow Palette. I was pleasantly surprised by how impressed I was with the quality and shades. The color palette is beautifully suited for a more mature complexion, and the shades blend easily. The combinations make it simple to create a variety of looks, from subtle and natural to more defined and dramatic. I also appreciate that the colors complement one another so well, making the palette easy and enjoyable to use. Overall, this is a lovely, versatile palette that I would definitely recommend.

Deep rich pigmented colors looks gorgeous on my skin
This makeup palette is card board but it’s the perfect size and variety that when I pack for work or vacations it’s is my go to. I own a lot of eyeshadows and blush and sometimes when traveling I have to choose the most portable ones and I end up borrowing my sisters. I’m also black and I bring this up to say that the pigment in this palate is superior. So if you love lush pigmented colors this palate is a must. Thank you Laura Geller for making products that are amazing on darker melaninated skin tones. When I was younger before Fenty beauty the makeup industry basically excluded a lot of people of color. A lot of corporations still need to work on their pigmentation and inclusivity but that’s another discussion for another day, just wanted to say I am impressed with the pigment and rich colors.

Wanted to love it but can't stand it
Well... first of all the product arrived broken, which I know happens but is still a downer. The palette is also in a pretty cardboard housing, not a sturdy click-closed plastic. So it's not going to be portable and will need to use more caution to avoid getting it wet from splashback of the sink etc.So minus1 star from the get-go.I have seen so many ads and reviews that rave about LG makeup! I treated myself over the holidays to two eyeshadow palettes, this pink prosecco one and one called floral. I was really looking forward to products that are supposedly made for aging women's skin.I am so disappointed! First, almost every pan is a metallic frosted, which tends to exaggerate wrinkles and saggy eyelids! I have a lot of makeup that I tried and didn't like very much or felt a little cheated by the cost vs the results, but this has to hands-down the worst ever. It feels heavy on the skin, it didn't blend well, and most of the light to medium shades didn't show well on my "light" skin (neutral undertones,blueish-gray eyes). The darker colors are too saturated and just look like red bruises, there was no neutral brown to use as a liner. That darkest red pan is useless to me, luckily that was the broken one huh. I was forced to use the midtone pink shades as the crease-shadow and lining colors with the lighter ones for overall lid coverage and highlighter shades to tone it down. In the end I felt like the eyeshadow was caked on and much too metallic for day wear, even with a dusting of mineral veil over it. Ok, that's the skin feeling. How did it look? I checked in several light settings. I saw too much makeup, and it was not very flattering. It reminded me of the makeup ladies wore in the 1970s. I will continue to experiment on how to apply it without overload on the brush (I barely tapped my brush on the color, and I tapped the loaded brush on a clean ceramic plate to evenly distribute the color on the brush and not overload the bristles). It was still too much. Worse, the product does not blend or easily spread across the lid, it clung to the first point of contact, and blending it out was a major chore. And yes, I had done all my prep work ahead of application, with a quality eyelid primer. I tried using a clean kabuki brush to blend out or lift some of the color, but wasn't very successful, and had to apply lighter colors over the darker to neutralize. I ended up having to apply mineral veil over it to make it look less garish. It looked and felt like stage makeup, something overly dramatic for my preferences. Why so many metallic shimmer shades? Mature skin does not look great with that.I will very likely return to my tried and true formula of applying a drugstore creme makeup (Revlon!) as a base, and dusting clinique or bare minerals shadows for more dramatic effects.I found nothing in the Laura Gellar products that felt or looked as-good or better than what I've been using, so I'm really puzzled about all the hype for this makeup line. What's the deal? Are all the reviews and the testimonials really honest? I was so looking forward to trying this and feel I wasted a hundred dollars! Once again fooled by marketing! I watched Laura Gellar herself apply the makeup in her videos, and her commentary simply does not match the actual experience. It's not easy to apply, it doesn't feel silky or smooth, and it is not easy to blend. Moreover, this set appears more suitable for a darker skinned person than myself, so it's not universally flattering. Most palette collections are flattering to all skin tones. This pink prosecco is definitely not.

Beautiful collection
I used to apply Laura Geller daily. I purchased this collection due to the reasonable price and I wasn't disappointed! Beautiful metallic shades, many nudes and suble pinks that are ideal for daytime wear.

Brilliant bit of kit!
I love Laura Geller products in general, and this is no exception. You get 14 different shades of matte brown in a carboard wallet, with a mirror, inside a cardboard box. The colours range from a soft ivory through to a deep, dark brown, and just about every shade in between; if it’s not there, you can mix it. Initially, I thought each eye shadow was quite small, as the diameter is around the size of a penny, but they’re domed, and as they’re so richly pigmented a little really does go a long way.The eye shadows are very easy to apply, blend perfectly, and are forgiving if you’re not so skilled at applying make up. You can create a subtle every day look, right through to the striking and dramatic smoky eye, and it stays in place. On me, I found that it didn’t cake or crease into my lines, which can be an issue with other brands. In addition, you can extend the usage by adding a touch of highlighter over the top to make it sparkle. I do think these are incredible value for money and would gladly buy again.
