The first time I ordered the fastcap flush cut trimmers, the package showed up without the trimmers in it. They did honor my request to send me another package with the trimmers inside this time, no questions asked. The flush cut trimmers came with the package, but they are NOT flush. They have a serious overbite, the blades should be parallel to each other and flush ground on one side, which they are not, having an overlap at the tip and gap at the bottom. This brand was suggested to me by a credible source so I've submitted a return and have reordered another set, hoping this is just a fluke flaw and that the standard quality is much better. It would be very disappointing to learn that this is the standard for this tool. If the third time isn't reminiscent of the old adage, I'll be trying Knipex® flush cut trimmers, more expensive, but maybe ya get what ya pay for... The other disappointing feature is that I have to wait up to 7 days after they receive the returned trimmers, for them to credit me. This is not an ideal situation, especially because I need them now. I'll write another review when I receive the replacement. Hopefully it will be a positive one. They sent the replacement and it is much better. These ones are flush at least and so far seem to work fine

I recently did some edge banding for the first time. I knew how it worked, but never did much. In watching videos on the subject, I saw many people recommend these exact cutters and I can see why. These are totally amazing. First of course, they are flush cut, so you can get right up the edge, and make great corners. I used them on 45 degree edges and worked awesome. I found that if I cut the edge close, then I could better see the plywood and make better final flush cuts. Love these, descent price, would gladly recommend.

These trimmers make clean, close cuts. I use these primarily for trimming 3/4” edge banding veneer. On initial cuts, or final trimming the blades cut the veneer easily. The cut is clean and sharp, and does not require much pressure. After apply the veneer to plywood, these trimmers allow for a very close, clean cut that in sometimes requires no additional sanding. I only rated durability 3stars because I’ve only had these for a few months ( 2 cabinet projects). However I would say that I expect they will be highly durable in the long term.

I bought these for my husband who has sooooooo many tools so why he wanted these I'll never know. But has used them already and loves them. Don't know what for but if he is happy then I'm happy.

Ignore poor reviews on this product. It does exactly what it is designed to do. This device is more like a scissors that is built specifically for trimming PVC (or similar)edge band. Won’t go into a long explanation, but if you aren’t familiar with edge banding in the cabinet industry, Google it, there are a bunch of videos that explain it and show what this tool is used for. It is not a side cutter, if you use it on steel or real hard things, you will damage the cutting surface. Just like you wouldn’t try to use a household paper scissors to cut the head of a nail off, don’t use this Fastcap tool to chop into metal. Used as intended it makes a nice, clean, and near flush cut on PVC/melamine/polyester/wood veneer edge banding material, up to 1mm thick. Just bought another one, and no complaints. Highly recommended ONLY to be used as intended.

Deze trimmer werkt maar matig, hij is niet erg scherp. Daardoor breekt/scheurt je kantenband soms. Alleen heel dunne kantenband heeft daar waarschijnlijk geen last van. Echt héél strak langs de rand afknippen lukt trouwens niet. Als je precies wilt werken zult altijd moet nabewerken met een mesje, beitel of schuurpapier. Ik gebruik 'm daarom niet meer, ik snijd de hoeken nu af met een breed afbreekmes (Knipex).

I brought these after seeing all the ads on social media, and thought I'd maybe been an idiot falling for ads, but I've found them actually pretty good - even if it's just because you end up with a set of snips purely for flush snipping, so they stay nice and sharp.

Excelente producto, no se porque los gringos se quejan que no deja un corte al ras, o esperan un acabado de fábrica o no las utilizan correctamente, con un poco de práctica se puede lograr un corte perfecto. Agiliza mucho el trabajo de enchapado de cantos, sin duda las volvería a comprar.
