Not very good. Takes a long time to dry and remain sticky as well as leave your hair dry.

Would you recommend this for naturally curly caucasian hair? i'm looking for something that will define my curls without being crunchy or greasy. tia

Hey i've actually got afro-caribbean hair but I found camille rose naturals really good since it doesn't dry sticky and gives great definition while allowing for soft waves curls and kinks.( i've naturally got 3 dif textures). Personally I have never found it greasy though it can form a slight cast which is really easy to break without the need for oil just scrunching. Hope this helps.

Hi all. i've got 2b/c s-waves with a few coils here and there. does this elongate curls like kinky curly custard does? i need shrinkage! thanks

Not sure this would be the product for you - I love it because it does give some elongation - I find that Kinky curly makes my hair go very curly. But I think it might be about using too much product which is then weighing your hair down... I would say that these products are better used I type three or 4 hair... I am 3c/4a and I love Canille  Rose...

is it a gel? it looks like gel if its not can i use it alongside a gel or does it have enough hold alone?

Hi, it’s a gel. It’s fine on it’s own and has enough hold, or you can layer it with a styling cream (styling cream first, then the gel). Just make sure the styling cream you use is compatible with it if you decide to layer it. The best way to tell if a gel and a styling cream is compatible is to dispense a tiny amount in the palm of your hand (about 1p sized blob of each product) then mix them together with your finger. If they blend together smoothly, they’re compatible. If the styling cream goes into blobs/chunks (a bit like cottage cheese) then they’re not compatible. Trust me, it makes a world of difference if they’re compatible!! xx
