will this charge copy makita batteries

There are so many different copy batteries out there - you would never be able to guarantee that any, or all, of them would work off genuine chargers, as heaven only knows how the fakes are made and out of what. Copy batteries often do not have the required or stated power so will damage your tools, and they often use illegal and unsafe chemicals that pose a very real hazard. From my experience, if you want a half price imitation battery that will work for 3 cycles before setting fire to your charger and work bench - then good luck to you.

Does it charge battery for a DSS611 saw

Looking at the saw it appears to have the standard Makita 18v lithium battery and if that's the case this charger should be absolutely fine.

Yep, and you can change it, from memory I think there may be 3 or 4 tunes to pick from.

Came in pictured bag and box with other items, not in a Makita box but otherwise fine product.

Good product and charges battery as per description. The only minor gripe is the item came in a plastic sealed bag within a box with other items from same seller and was not in an individual marked box. Was just surprised rather than anything as items does work perfectly.
