A BIG bottom is VERY useful...
…as we find out towards the end! The current 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘 + the stock images above give an idea of the content. From the back cover of the paperback edition (image below refers): 🐻~ 'Join the 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐘 Bear was friendly, Bear was sweet, The 𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒕 bear you'd ever meet! With little paws and little feet, And a very 𝗕𝗜𝗚 bear 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒐𝒎! Oh no! Bear’s 𝗕𝗜𝗚 bottom is getting him into 𝗕𝗜𝗚 trouble! Can he 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 make it up to his friends?’🐻 ooOoo Measuring around 24.5 cm x 28 cm, the card cover opens to 32 good quality, shiny-finish pages; the story running over 24 in double-page spread format. First up is a page to claim ownership (image below refers). The various hazards of having a big bottom form the basis of the ‘story’, which is an easy-to-read rhyme, bar the last line of each page, which is a repeat based around the word ‘𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦’, and/or ‘𝗕𝗜𝗚’! The main font used is a little on the sketchy side but is clear and uses the 𝙧𝒐𝙪𝒏𝙙𝒆𝙙 ‘𝒂’, which makes me happy, as do the accompanying illustrations by Emma Yarlett! Lots to see and talk about (and giggle over), with some words 𝗘𝗡𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗗 for emphasis! There is a neat twist in the story that involves turning the book to portrait towards '𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗗'!
