Bear's Big Bottom

I really, really love this book. The rhyming verse is different to most children's books, the illustrations are beautiful and I love the topic! Big bottoms aren't all bad! Entertaining, a pleasure to read, I very highly recommend it.

This book has been read a zillion times! Funny and as it’s about poo has been a real hit for a 4 yr old boy!!!

The various hazards of having a big bottom form the basis of the ‘story’, which is an easy-to-read rhyme, bar the last line of each page, which is a repeat based around the word ‘𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦’, and/or ‘𝗕𝗜𝗚’! The main font used is a little on the sketchy side but is clear and uses the 𝙧𝒐𝙪𝒏𝙙𝒆𝙙 ‘𝒂’, which makes me happy, as do the accompanying illustrations by Emma Yarlett! Lots to see and talk about (and giggle over), with some words 𝗘𝗡𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗗 for emphasis! There is a neat twist in the story that involves turning the book to portrait towards '𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗗'!

One of my granddaughters favourite books, she is three & knows every word off by heart.

A really well written and entertaining book. Really enjoyed by my grandson (and also the older members of the family!!).

The book arrived quickly and was a lovely read with great descriptive pictures and large print. All my children enjoyed this book, highly recommended.
