I've found this incredibly useful, especially for tidying electric cables when they're not in use.Simply wind up the cable, wrap enough round to give a firm overlap, then cut. As it's only narrow, it's easy to undo when needed, and is suitable for fine cables such as mp3 player earphones to larger mains cables. As it's cut to length, there's no waste, nor is there a huge bulk of fastener to make it impractical or unsightly.If you've got a drawer or cupboard with lots of things with cables thrown into it (e.g. phone chargers, hairdryers, headphones) and find that it's like unravelling spaghetti when you want to use something, then this is definitely something that will cure the problem.Better than elastic bands (that perish and break) or cable twists (the wire often works it's way out of the end of the twist to pierce fingers, etc) or string (how many times does that supposedly easy-to-undo knot just become permanent so you have to just cut the string?).I thought I'd need more than one roll after I'd been round everything in the house, but I've been pleasantly surprised at just how far it's gone, however, if I do run out, I'll definitely be buying more of the same.

An essential part of my tool kit. The hold/strength is good. Size is perfect for wrapping cables.

Excellent for electrical leads and the like. Would not want to use on anything large.

Great stuff to help tidy up cables. It’s easy to cut to any length, stays together and it is strong. We use it all round the house to keep cables neat and tidy, even the iron flex in a cupboard has a piece on it to tame the cable!Great value.

Great Velcro. Does the job. I paid just under £10 last month for this exact product. Now it’s £16 for the same length. Better to shop around. x

Bought this to tidy up all the cables under a desk. 1 screw is driven through the middle of the velcro after being cut to length (really easy) and then screwed into the bottom of the desk.Holds cables really well, not letting go at all.Really good buy!

Like that it is without branding, very thin and due to being cut to size the massive lump of velcro is not very visible when looking at the wires. Also have used it for clumping wires together near the plug to shorten, this only works as I can cut the velcro much longer than what the normal set size ties would allow and added benefit of easily releasing in case I need to move things.
