I needed to drill 9 holes 5/16 dia. through 3/4 inch of steel plate upside down on the ceiling, so decided to get this adapter to use my cobalt drill bits in my magnetic base Slugger (normally uses rotary broach type cutters with a 3/4" shank).What would have taken me hours and killed me with a hand drill only took about 30 minutes with this adapter in the Slugger working off a manlift.The price was very reasonable for the drill chuck with the adapter and key.

Runs true with no noticeable runout. This replaced the chuck in my Vevor mag drill that did not run true.

Using this on a Grizzly G0766 wood lathe. This is heavy duty and words well. Fits the tailstock perfect and also auto ejects when you crank the tailstock back. Holds drill bits solidly without any play. Very good chuck I would recommend.

Fits perfect in an old Duracaft FM-1214, the taper on the arbor is an MT2.Fit and finish is great, time will tell whether it lasts. You do have to seat the arbor in the chuck as it comes in two pieces.

I needed a drill truck for my mag drill because I was letting a local high school use it to build a robot for competition. The adapter is pretty well made, the chuck quality is pretty much what you'd expect out of an import chuck. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.

This is a decent Chuck - but is 16 mm not 5/8”. What we needed so ok. It’s not as smooth as a Jacobs but will do the job well for the price we paid. It turned out to be same brand as the Chuck that came in our Chinese made drill press - which lasted 30 years of medium use.Recommended.
