Reliable lip balm I’ve returned to for years
This has been my go‑to lip balm for years, and it’s one I keep coming back to. It’s consistently moisturising and helps keep my lips comfortable and protected, even with regular use. The beeswax formula feels nourishing without being overly greasy, and the hint of peppermint gives a subtle, refreshing feel. It absorbs well and provides lasting moisture rather than needing constant reapplication. Being made with natural‑origin ingredients is also a plus, and the stick format is practical for everyday use. Overall, it’s a dependable, well‑formulated lip balm that does exactly what it’s meant to do. A product I’d happily recommend and continue to use.

Original is best
The original beeswax version is my favourite lip balm of all time. I have a bad habit of biting my lips so the skin on my lips often get tough and dried out, and this balm does wonders. I've tried various other burts bees flavours and tints but none of them even remotely compares to the original. Those end up feeling like your regular, cheap supermarket chapsticks, and their only pro is smelling a little nicer or adding a tiny little bit of colour to your lips, so i'd have to say stick with the original beeswax one if you actually want to see how amazing this brand actually is. Anyway, the original lipbalm feels great, not oily or uncomfortable, and keeps lips moisturised for a long time. It has no shine or tint and has only a mild but pleasant minty smell, so it when applied you can't even tell it's there (good for when you're going for that all-natural look, and for those guys who want to moisturise but don't want to look 'girly'). The lip balm give a tingly feeling on your lips (similar to carmex), which can be considered both and pro and a con depending on the user's preference, but I consider it to be a major pro cause i love the tingling feeling. I've tried basically all the popular lip balms out there, from carmex to elizabeth arden 8 hour lip repair to smiths rosebud salve, but none of them were ever quite as good as burts bees. so this is definitely a lip balm I recommend trying if you haven't already. just remember to get the original beeswax one, not any of those other fancy flavours and variations.

Nice citrus scent and keeps lips soft
Lovely pink grapefruit smell - fresh and not too strong. Goes on smoothly and keeps lips moisturised, though it wears off a bit quicker than I’d like.

Burt's Bees Lip Balms
I have tried two different kinds of the Burt's Bees lip balm products. Both varieties I have tried were in the 'stick' form, in a tube with a cap. In order to use, cap has to be removed and stick has to be twisted. 1 - Beeswax Lipbalm with Vitamin E & Peppermint: As far as I can tell, the Beeswax variety of the lip balm is the 'original', it also comes in a tin variety similar to Traditional Vaseline lip balms. The scent of the lip balm is mostly peppermint. When applied it gives a slight tingling sensation to the lips which isn't uncomfortable or unpleasant. The consistency of the lip balm isn't too wet/oily, and I don't really find that it's clumpy either. It may be slightly too sticky for some tastes but personally I don't have a problem with it. I find that it moisturises my lips without me needing to reapply regularly. 2 - Honey Moisturizing Lip Balm: Out of the two, this is my favourite. This variety does not come in a tin form. The scent is sweet and quite similar to that of honey. Once applied it doesn't incur any sensations (unlike the previous variety mentioned). Again the lip balm doesn't make me have wet/oily lips, nor does it clump. I don't have to reapply on frequent intervals which I like, as it keeps my lips moisturised. The consistency is very similar to that of the Beeswax variety. Overall, I would recommend Burt's Bees lip balms and I am excited to try other variations/flavours. As someone who wears a lot of wet to matte lipsticks, I find that it keeps my lips moisturised (as wet to matte lipsticks can be quite drying to the lips), without it feeling too oily or unpleasant. I am also a big fan of Vaseline tin lip balms (Cocoa Butter and the Limited Edition Queen Bee variants especially), and I would say I prefer Burt's Bees. The Burt's Bees Lip Balms are definitely worth a try, despite being slightly more costly than other brands. I am looking forward to see if there are any other variations/flavours introduced in the future.

A firm favourite...
I first tried Burt's Bees Lip Balm a few years ago when I decided to put an end to all the chemicals in my beauty products, and while I liked the original minty one, I just LOVE this Pomegranate Replenishing one. Winter is a time when I find you really need your lip balm, and it's also a time when I really don't want a cooling minty one to cool my already cold lips even further. In contrast I love to have this slightly warming, yet wonderfully fruity smell with me throughout the winter. Initally I used this lipbalm in winter and the minty one in summer, but I find myself using this one more and more all through the year. I'm not sure I'd say the smell was pomegranate exactly, but it's yummy! My Mum loved the smell of it so much I had to buy some for her; she said it was wonderful for her chapped lips, and we both found it a lot more beneficial than other lip balms we'd used in the past - it glides on easily, with it's very nice mild tint, and keeps lips moist for longer. In the past both myself and my Mum noticed our lips would become drier when using lip balms, so you needed to constantly reapply them, and it became a vicious cycle - not so with this one. One more factor - it passes the kiss test with flying colours from hubby! Soft kissable lips that smell great, with no obvious, sticky or clumpy "residue" some other lipbalms can have. Thumbs up all around!

Moisturising and Good Colour Payoff
This Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer offers the perfect balance between lip care and colour. It delivers good colour payoff for a product that doubles as a lip balm, with a subtle shimmer. The minty smell is refreshing, though there’s no noticeable taste. The formula is moisturising, leaving lips soft while the tingling sensation adds to the experience. The caramel shade is true to the image and adds a lovely touch of colour with a bit of shimmer. Pros: • Moisturising formula. • Good colour payoff for a lip balm. • Refreshing minty smell. • Subtle shimmer adds a nice finish. • Easy to apply and carry around. Cons: • Tingling sensation may not be for everyone.

Works well. Smells good. Not too feminine for a man.
My favorite. I've been using this since 2009 because it works so well for me.

Baume mini format
