It is so useful
To allow me to switch on a ground level lamp without having to bend down for the usual collar switch.

NO INSTRUCTIONS, NO LIST OF PARTS. UNUSABLE & UNSAFE
The switch has arrived. Inside are 4 screws, 1 brass item with 2 screws in the top, 2 very very small tubes, 1 spring, 1 black switch with a base, a top and a button. I am explaining this as there is no list of contents. BUT MOST IMPORTANT there are NO INSTRUCTIONS and I need to get the light working soon so I need a reply soon. Also as a matter of SAFETY there should be instructions for an electric switch.

When assembled it works fine, but with no instructions to assemble a" bag of bits", it leaves you very frustrated.

Good foot switch
Exactly as described and arrived quickly. Perfect!

you willnot be pleased with this switch
The unit is flimsy and the minute "no screws" pin-connections to the tiny micro-swicth are useless. I could not make a good connection. Suggest buying the best quality switch,not the cheapest, and make sure that the cable connection to the/micro switch are of the screw type. Personally, if I can't see a replacement first I will try other switching methods for my standard lamp. Amazon promptly refunded the cost after an easy return to a local pick up point.
