Opening the tin is worth 960x the original price just for the pure nostalgia of the smell!. BTW, you should NOT inhale the vapours, they bad for you - read the instructions and safetly information. The stuff does work wonders though, just as it always did. Nothing polishes Brass like it. Remember to let it dry then buff the item with a soft dry cloth. It's not easy to use. If you value your hands, I advise using some disposable vinyl gloves, remove the whole wad from the tin, separate a sheet, tear some off it, re-roll and put back in the tine. Make sure the lid is on tight. The old rhyme used to go "Shine your buttons in Brasso, only 3 halfpence a tin". That 0.625p in new money. Now it's 6 quid a tin, but still worth it :)

Exactly the same as when I was a kid! Fantastic product. Cleaned my stained stainless steel splash back on my cooker. I have to tell you that I tried many products before coming to Brasso. They all stained my splash back. With only a little bit of elbow grease (real product) cleaned up perfectly. Now shiny and new looking again. Try on the bike wheels, they come up beautifully, you will try it on everything as it is so good. Simple but fantastic product. Old style always the best.

It's good stuff for cleaning but requires a lot of elbow grease. It's also really nasty stuff and will eat through gloves unless you have some proper industrial gloves for chemical use. Marigolds you use for washing up will not last long and it's not good t get on your skin at all.

I needed something to clean up some brass I had recently purchased. After a bit of searching I saw the Brasso Metal Polish. I remembered it from when I was small child growing up. When it arrived it looked and smelt the same as it used to and it still works as good as it used to and there's lots of it so I know it will last some time as well.

This is a great product.I bought it to use on my motorbike which has a lot of chrome bits. Just rip a little bit off the bundle a give it a rub,polish off with a clean rag and there you go. It also removes flyspecks from the backs of the mirrors and lights. all in all a great product.

I am not an expert but need lots of elbow grease. If the item is not smooth then you will struggle to clean it. the flat part looks clean but all the grooves and dips will be difficult to reach. I had to use more than half of the material for one small decorative item, but maybe that is how it should be.

This product was recommended to me. I had never heard of it so I ordered. It works great! Highly recommend.
