Depends if the toddler has other conditions. If the toddler likes to put objects in his/her mouth then I'd say no, as the cards won't survive. If the toddler goes to a nursery then suggest you speak to the SENCO. The cards are colorful and bright.

The cards are rather flimsy, and some of the pictures don't exactly look like what they are supposed to be. Perhaps take pictures of familiar items and laminate them instead.

Is there 2 cards with the same word? One with the pictures and words and another with just the word?

The cards are double sided. For example one side has 'cat' and the other side has a picture of a cat.
