Thermos Hydro Active Sports Bottle, Blue, 450 ml

This is a great sports bottle and I think it actually looks nicer in real life as the photo looks like an odd pink. For teenagers or adult females I would say this is a perfect size (much too large for young children to handle) and shape. It fits nicely in my sports bag ready for my workout and the freezable core keeps my water nice and cool and ready to drink. I personally love the fact that it doesn't have one of those small, squeezy spouts which you have to work hard at to get any liquid out! It is a large spout which means you can gulp the water down fast to quench your thirst (essential when doing a high intensity workout) and the only downside to this is that you need to ensure the cap is back on firmly otherwise it could spill. A great bottle and I would buy exactly the same again if I need to replace it but it seems extremely durable - has been dropped multiple times on a wooden floor and survived intact!

The bottle has a rubberised strip for grip around part of the curves of the bottle, the grip is so small it probably doesn't really do anything but I'm not bothered about something so small as the focus is most likely on aesthetics. Anyway, there is a little scale on the side which gives 250 - 350 - 450 ml and 9 - 12 - 15 oz which is handy. The cap screws on well and has a lot of rubber grip on it which helps when it is stiff. The spout lid is rather stiff like others have said but I've opened tougher Volvic bottles if I am honest. The little spout lid also clicks back so that when you tip the bottle to your mouth it doesn't flip back and bong you on the nose and make you spit everywhere (you can tell I speak from experience haha). Inside it the removable freezer tube which just slots in and out easily. It also has a scale on the outside for 10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 50 max ml although why you would want to measure this I don't know. It seems to be well made and durable and serves its purpose really well. But then how much better can a water bottle get?

Quality: The overall transparent plastic feels nice, thick and good quality. The flip top never broke in the 4 years I owned the bottle (before I lost it) Grip: I love the shape of the bottle + the rubber grips. It makes gripping the bottle easy for my smallish women hands and you can't easily drop it when the bottle is dripping with condensation. Looks: I bought the black version. it's a nice unisex bottle. Has a gym vibe to it. My bro actually bought one for himself after he saw me using it. Ease of Cleaning: it doesn't have funny nooks in the bottom that would gather muck. Nice and easy to clean with a bottle cleaning brush. Verdict: I really couldn't find a problem with this bottle.

I bought 2 of these a couple of years ago for my daughter to take to school. The insert that you put in the freezer is a clever feature but to be honest there's only a handful of days each year which are hot enough to merit using it. The lid of one bottle broke quite soon after I bought it so I foolishly bought a 3rd. To close the lid properly you have to push down very hard. This makes it difficult for kids to use because they are then hard to get open - one of them has teeth marks on the lid and I'd rather my daughter didn't damage her teeth trying to open a water bottle! And if you don't manage to get the lid pushed down all the way and really firmly closed, they leak really badly. My daughter has now come home with a completely soaked school bag for the 2nd time in the past year, which ruined some of her school workbooks. I've given up on these bottles and have thrown them into the recycling bin. Good idea, but the lid needs a redesign.

I have bought a few drink bottle for my boys with the freezer part in the centre and each of them like that it's still cool when they drink it. This bottle seemed very solid and well made. The centre part screwed on easily and not loose. My son took it in on Tuesday morning and when I picked him up the lid was cracked. The bottle still didn't leak as it has a rubber seal, but I don't want my son cutting himself on it. I've put it away for use by myself and had to buy another . Not great for the price and wish I'd had the other comments with the same issue

as with all thermos products this has yet again proved to be a winner with an internal compartment and good quality seals my daughter loves it and i am so pleased with the quality i have ordered the blue version for the gym for myself its not too big and yet is just big enough to fit in a bike bottle holder so its perfect for spinning or any of the cardio machines whilst not being cumbersome, The black line around the middle is rubberised so i don't drop it when i am very sweaty . . the price is also extremely competative and the free delivery makes it a must. p.s the delivery was fast too.

Thank you for my super Active Bottle to put my drinks in and this bottle so use useful and it fits really niceley in my Hand bag it is just right size for my bag thank you Thank you for the Iinstretsions for how to look after the Bottle and i will keep it to remmber what to do and i have to say i like the lid and hole to drink it is just what i wanted and i like the new way to put the water in the Ice jub to keep my drinks really nice and cold is great.and i have to say this is for the 2 rd Bottle to i just say the same that i am doing for this one and i really love them very much and so useful to i got a Card to let me know there is a Box for me and i got it from the Post Office to collect and i am pleased that it was sealed really well and thank you I will use your serivce agian and i like to say to anyone these Items are so worth buying

The ice compartment is on top, so once yo drink half the bottle the compartment is not in touch with the drink. Also the ice compartment fits too snugly and doesn't have a good grip so to remove it i had to use a fork, and hence it broke on the second removal. It is cheap though, so i use it as a simple water bottle.

La borraccia in sè è carina e utile soprattutto perchè tiene l'acqua bella fresca, ma dopo pochi utilizzi il contenitore refrigerante si è crepato e ormai la uso senza esso. Mi aspettavo di meglio!

Genial en medidas. Se cierra perfectamente y el dispositivo de hielo no ocupa mucho. Se desmonta todo sin problema para poder lavarlo bien

Yo lo utilizo principalmente para el gimnasio y tanto por su tamaño como por la boca ancha que tiene es muy fácil de transportar y de llenar, además es tiene las dimensiones justas para el botellero de las bicis de espining y demás máquinas del gimnasio. Para excursiones también lo he utilizado varias veces y muy bien.

La botella Thermos está muy bien hecha. Los acabados en goma antideslizante evitan que se te resbale al llenarla o al llevar la mano sudada. El núcleo para hielo es muy útil, pero reduce la capacidad de agua.
