Southpole - Kids Big Boys' Basic Fleece Jogger Pant in Medium-Weight Fabric

Just received the sweats today. Bought size small for my 8 1/2 year old. He is 66 pounds and around 4 feet tall. I normally buy him size 10 at old navy, and these seem comparable if not a bit bigger than the average size 10? They are a bit big, but thanks to the functional drawstring and ankle band, he is happy (without the drawstring, they would be falling down) The material is thicker than i expected and there are front and back pockets (one pocket in back) I'm back to buy a couple more :) great deal. Update: after almost two years of use, these sweats are still in good shape! My son hasn't grown much and they still fit. They do not shrink in the dryer and haven't gotten any holes. Only negative is they pill in the wash. Every 3 or 4 washes, I need to use a battery powered defuzzer, and that takes care of the problem. Otherwise, they get ugly looking :/ pretty sturdy pants!

I've bought three different colors three different times as my son (and I) love them even more and more. It's been nearly impossible to find pants that fit his new husky body type, but these fit perfectly. He's 11 1/2, about 120 pounds and about 5 ft. tall. The quality is great and the pockets are deep enough so his phone doesn't fall out. Great bargain and will continue to collect every color.

Even though I'm not going to send them back I feel the picture is very deceiving. The description shows a white bow at the front of the pants which leads one to believe that the waste is adjustable by pulling these two white tabs. But that is not the case. Is just their for decoration and each one was only an inch long and no way could you make a bow on the pants or even tie them together. I ordered a size large thinking that the waste would be too big but they could be adjusted. Wrong. The pants are a good quality and thickness and of course the value for your money was great but I would have preferred to have an adjustable waist. I guess I should take 50% of the blame because I didn't go down far enough and read the description of the pants where it says it is not adjustable. But all in all they are of good quality and can be used someday by my grandson when he gets a bit older.

These are great everyday sweatpants although they run large relative to the size chart provided by Amazon. I purchased these for my somewhat picky 11 year old son. He gave them a thumbs down based on the style and wouldn't even try them on. I kept them because the price was great and I knew there'd come a day when he just wanted some soft fuzzy warm pants. Sure enough he wore them last weekend and loved how they felt but they are quite large on him. For grins I slipped them on today and to my surprise they fit me just like my Gap joggers. I am in love with these for myself! The boys large looks like a slim fit ankle jogger on me. I'm 5'7", 140 pounds, apple shaped with a 30.5" waist and slim legs. He's 5.3", 105 pounds and normally wears a 12 slim. I'm going to get him a pair of medium and another pair of large for myself. Update: The mediums fit my son perfectly. Use the size noted on the product name, not the size chart provided by amazon.
