Great hi-res touchscreen netbook. Beautiful screen!
I am a little saddened by the negative reviews I see for this device. Maybe I've been lucky, maybe this unit will fall apart in the coming months, or maybe I knew what to expect and others had higher hopes. Build quality SEEMS fine - I have no issues. It was delivered fairly promptly (although watching the driver GPS signal online was like observing a drunk wasp staggering around aimlessly). If you want processing power - don't get this. If you want to do simple web browsing, or remote access to a more powerful (but less portable) PC, or simply want a really high resolution touchscreen - then get this. Windows 10 is both a bonus and a drawback - it gives access to a great many programs "right on the notebook", albeit slowly. However where 4GB of RAM on an Android tablet would be quite roomy, for Windows 10 it is positively cramped. I knew this in advance, however, so have not been disappointed. The 64GB storage would also be roomy for most Android devices - but for Windows 10 it's much, much tighter. It leaves little room for big Windows 10 updates, much less installing extra software. Get a big micro SD card to put Temp files, data, and applications on. The Wifi seems great, and the keyboard/stand/screen cover I bought at the same time seem perfect. Sadly, I haven't had time to test out the pen yet. Lovely, LOVELY cheap "netbook" type computer. But don't get it expecting it to compete with an Alienware gaming notebook and you should find it's very good value (assuming it doesn't self-destruct after writing this note).

Not for me
Seemed like a low-cost alternative to large iPad. It is not - specially if you’re an Apple aficionado. Well made, good looking but very confusing operating system, dreadful battery life (went from full to 36% whilst off in a three hour journey), will not charge even through USB C cable from battery charger, must be mains only, pathetic user leaflet in micro-print and no on-line PDF etc

Failed in less than 12 months
I have had this less than 12 months and it now fails to charge or power on, the vendors response to my request for help was to request a photo of the problem! The problem is it won't power up, how a photo will help I don't know. They then suggested a sequence of power button press action but that was a waste of time. They now have stopped responding to my emails. Searching the net has shown that the Chuwi Hi13 seems to develop this problem regularly and there does not appear to be an easy solution. I would not recommend this supplier or the Chuwi Hi 13 as once it fails you are left with a useless lump of metal and plastic With regard to Chuwi in general I am writing this on a Chuwi Hi12 which I have had for about 18 months with no issues so I think the problem is the Hi 13and not Chuwi in general.

More a fancy tablet than laptop
I have been pleased with this 2 in 1 tablet/PC so far. The item came packaged well and feels built to last. The product itself works well and I found the touchscreen to be responsive with no lags. It is also very attractive and slim and feels pricey. Having used other similar products I didn't feel as though I had bought a cheaper alternative. There are a few areas where I was left a bit disappointed. First, for this to truely work as a laptop it needs to have USB ports and not a micro USB. Having to buy an adaptor to use a USB stick makes it a bit of a nuissance. As this product has limited hard drive space USB/SD cards become essential and I do feel they missed a trick here. I am also not a fan of the micro HDMI port for the same reasons and to me this is a just a fancy tablet rather than a laptop. There is no keyboard included, however it can be purchased if you want to use this product as an laptop. This does turn out to be a useful purchase as it has 2 USB ports included on it. It's just a shame it isn't included as standard with the product. Whilst this is a lot cheaper than the microsoft surface, for the reasons I mentioned above I do not see this as a main laptop replacement but rather an additional one that you can use as a tablet.

Good but slow
It’s a great piece of kit with a lovely hi res touch screen, but it loses 2 stars on account of its sluggishness. There’s nothing wrong with this that 8GB of RAM and a processor upgrade wouldn’t fix.

Limited Memory Capasity
Nice product with some serious limitation. Mass Memory only 64 GB and can be extended only with 32 GB Micro SD Card! Only one Mini USB Connector.

A real non-starter
I bought one and it never one powered up. Even the practically unreadable blurb that came with it warned "if this doesn't power up...etc" nothing that was suggested worked. The resellers were hopeless. The product looked great and we really wished it had worked. I don't know why most of the reviews posted here are for a keyboard. Reviews elsewhere all suggest that this is a product fraught with problems...pity. Amazon were great about taking it back, so very glad we bought it through them and not direct....
