My dog has been taken these for afew years. She had luxating patella issues and was going to need surgery.With rest and taking these every day the vet said she doesn’t need the surgery as her limping has stopped. She also seems to have stronger muscles in back legs as is happy to jump on and off things which she didn’t do before. Also her coat is thicker and shining.

Great supplement, my 14 year old dog is doing really well after a couple of knee injuries, it's definitely helped with his recovery.

My Airedale was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia when she was nearly two years old. Since putting her on these capsules (1 a day) she has never limped or stiffened up on her back end since, she is now 6 yo. My vet recommended minimum quantities of glucosamine and chondroitin (which were the ones they sold at a high price!) so I looked around and found these. They easily surpass the vet's recommendations and are much cheaper. There was an issue which has been mentioned by other reviewers of the capsules sticking together. Vitapaws seem to have sorted that a while back - the capsules changed colour and I've not had a sticky one since. YuMove is very popular and expensive, they contain 250mg gluc, 180mg chond, compared to 700/445 for these! It truly is a no-brainer! Be careful which Vitapaws product you buy though, there are several with different formulations and they all look very similar. I do not have any connection with Vitapaws, and my Amazon account tells me I'm on my tenth order of these capsules!

Good vitamins for dogs

Our breeder recommended glucosamine for our puppy, hence why I had purchased the item. Easy to use, clear instructions, the capsules are easy to open and the content can be mixed with food. Not sure if this is effective but we have had no issues so far.

Can’t ask dogs if these help with arthritis, but they appear happier
