Rainbow Designs Very Hungry Caterpillar Teether Baby Rattle

This is a childhood favourite of mine and does not disappoint. I purchased this for a gift for a friend's new baby boy and it went down a treat! The main body of the caterpillar is soft fabric and looks colourful and bright which babies will love. The final piece (I'd say the tail but caterpillars don't have tails) is made of soft rubber/plastic which is just the ticket for any teething baby. If I remember rightly, it has small ridges on it also which are fab for little gums. It introduces your baby to the world of Eric Carle and The Very Hungry Caterpillar which will then make reading the book to them later all the more enjoyable for the both of you. Overall I can't fault this product, it is perfect for any teething baby and will probably be a firm favourite long after their teeth have arrived.

This is a BIG GOLD STAR toy for the very young and needing to chew things. A nice face, a crinkly bit in the middle and a really good chewy section at the end. Ties in nicely with the book - a huge favourite with a second generation now - and a thing on TV my son has for his kids. Also, it's a really good size for putting in the BAG and then bringing out - ta dah - when child gets cranky and it's a good size for little hands to hold. My grandson loves it. Yaaay!

Our granddaughter loves this, she carry's it around with her all the time. Nice size for her to hold and play with

My son was given one of these when he was born and I have since bought several to give to friends' new babies. They are the perfect size for little hands, have a quiet little rattle which would never be too annoying for adults, have various different textures and the green plastic part at the end of the caterpillar is designed for chewing. One slight improvement I would have liked is a small loop or something which can be used to attach it to the buggy/car seat etc. Other than that, it's a great toy for any baby.

lovely teether smaller than i thought but was still a nice present

Bought this because my daughter really liked the Hungry Caterpillar. She doesn't leave it very far behind, absolutely adores it. The colours on the Caterpillar are eye catching to a 3-6 month old. !! Wouldn't keep the plastic teether on for too long, once teeth are involved it's all downhill from there. Ended up cutting it off.

Lovely little caterpillar. It isn't very large but I would say a good size for a baby to teeth/suck on, and easy for a baby to pick up. It has a nice wrinkly sound/texture and my baby boy can easily play with it. Unfortunately he's not particularly interested In it but baby's all have diff preferences and he might like it better in time. I've just tried different types of teethers to see which suit him best. I think it is very good as you can teeth on any part of it making it easy for babies who are learning hand to mouth coordination.

Such a lovely item. Perfect for little hands .My granddaughter is fascinated by it.

Cute little caterpillar. It has bright attractive colors, just right for the babies. With rattling n crinkling, it keeps the baby entertained. Also has a small teether with dots on one side & textured on other - in it's tail. Very handy for travel or just for a little walk.

My baby (7 months) really loved this toy! Perfect size for a baby and it’s pretty easy to wipe clean. It’s very cute and good quality. The crinkle noise is a favorite of my baby.

This rattle is as cute as can be. It fits perfectly with Eric Carle's Very Hungy Catertbook.

Great rattle toy with many colours and textures for baby

A little bit smaller than what I thought it would be (about 5" or so in length and 1" diameter), but perfect for babies grip. The colours are bright and fun, the rattle and crinkle noises keep baby entertained. Teething portion at the end of the tail is good but doesn't replace a regular teether. Great add on to go with the book!
