The mini stapler is quite robust and not flimsy and yes staples do come with it so i don't know what others were receiving to give the bad reviews .

This is an amazing little stapler. Really handy, small enough to go anywhere with you in your bag. I actually had the same exact one for about 10 years now, that's how long it lasts and more. But I've managed to lose it. So I got the same one. Great buy, love it. Also came in the same colour I had, blue, which I was hoping to get again and I did!

The Rexel Buddy Mini Stapler is a small but efficient stapler for both students and office professionals alike, as well as for the organised household to hold various documents together. It has a throat depth of 15mm; making it a small but durable accessory that is easy to use with limited instruction, and has a compact design if you so wish to carry it on the go. This particular stapler promises permanent stapling, which I have yet to refute, and has an easily usable top loading mechanism which ensures that reloading with additional staples is an easy/ hassle-free task. The base of the stapler is rubberised so it can be situated onto most surfaces without toppling over; incorporating a handy staple remover. Plus, the overall shape of the stapler makes for easy gripping so your hand does not get too tired if using for long periods of time. It must be noted that although this stapler is an all-round convenient tool, it is not meant for heavy-duty jobs, being able to staple together 10 pages maximum. It is a very basic stapler that is intended for occasional use, so doesn't have the power and strength of an industrial stapler obviously. However, for simple tasks such as keeping papers and home receipts in order, the Mini Buddy sure does the job, with the Rexel company offering a range of heavy-duty staplers for more industrial office environments. The Rexel Mini Buddy has a 50 staple loading capacity and uses No. 56 staples. Upon purchase, one box of 1000 x No. 56 staples is included (26/6), although it does take the No. 16 (24/6) staples also, with both sizes being available to buy through most stationary stockists. The stapler itself does come in a variety of colours, which are all quite bright and pleasing to the eye; myself receiving the orange coloured option (as shown in the attached photos to this review). However, it would be nice to have a choice as to which colour you will be getting upon purchase, as the company simply sends out a random colour. Therefore, it may be a good idea for the company to update their product page to reflect this demand. Overall, the Rexel Mini Buddy Stapler is an efficient and convenient eye-catching tool for the home and office. It is sturdy and compact, and speaking as both a student and part-time healthcare assistant who has to complete and file a fair amount of paperwork, I can most certainly recommend it as a reliable and handy tool for light duties throughout the day.

Lovely little stapler useful for work! Fits in bag and can be used anywhere. I just wish you could select the colour as I would have liked blue but received green. I loved the little storage compartment at the bottom which held additional spare staples, great idea! It also has a stapler remover built in for removing staples easily which is very useful.

Bought this to go in my pocket as my job involves running between airplane cockpits and airport gates with paperwork and it's a brilliant size and incredibly sturdy but when it came the internal spring was so strong it had a tendency to pop open and drop it's staples out. Trying to weaken that spring is how I know how incredibly sturdy this thing is, you wouldn't believe the forces I exerted on it! Needle nose pliers eventually got the job done and now it stays shut!

Good handy little stapler to take into uni. I ordered the saples to go with it but it comes already with plenty to keep you going for ages! Shame you can't pick your colour, I got the green one which is my least favourite but apart from that nothing to fault ! It even staples bit piles of documents so performs just as well as a big stapler ! Wee gem.
