Will this work with other z-wave systems or does it require a specific hub?

It does not require a specific hub; I am using a Razberry Z-wave card on a Raspberry Pi as controller.

Is this the eye of Sauron?

Sadly no, the light only comes on momentarily when it detects movement (presumably to save battery) If you're quick you can see the eye shape but it really doesn't look as impressive as the image on the listing. To be fair, as a motion detector, it works well.

Is this compatible with Smartthings hub v.2? Tnx

Hi. Samsung SmartThings does support Z-Wave and Fibaro devices so it should work without issues though we have not tried this.

Once intergrated in the Samsung Smart Things hub can you call in different commands via Amazon Echo for the different sensors?

With the amazon echo I can ask it to turn on various lights that use the Fibaro relay switches. Not sure what commands you could give this Fibaro sensor? I have two, they're ok and I use the Samsung hub also.
