Is this used straight from the pot or does it have to be 'warmed'

Depends on your use. If you want to use it on your skin or hair, then warming is useful to get it to liquid state which is easier to apply. If you want to use it to cook or put it on your bread, then warming is not required.

can this be used for oil pulling

Yes you can use it for this,use for about 20 minutes and spit out rinsing your mouth after.There are many people who use this method from what I hear.I use this oil for many many things.

Can this be used as a facial oil and would I use it alone or with my usual moisturiser?

Really good. I use it for my skin and hair too. Works great as a moisturiser for face and body. Great stuff. Taste great too. For a lighter version of coconut rice add 1/4 teaspoon in your water for the rice.
