Addis 2.2m Washing Line Prop | Heavy Duty Outside Clothes Line Pole

Paid a bit more for better quality. Feels like it’s up to the job and not made of cheese like others on here. Height adjustment is a metal hook sort of arrangement that fits into a series of slots in one part of the prop and not a piece of plastic that you tighten and that will eventually fail. I’m confident that it will support the weight of my gimp suit when full of water. The prop is approximately 2.48m from one end to where the clothes line would sit in the saddle. Forget the rest and just buy this one.

Great sturdy product. Easy to use straight out the box/bag. Please note all the reviews stating it swings in half or bends etc are using the middle pole holder as a foot. It is not a foot and should be half way up the poles.

A rather easy to use prop, that at the time of writing appears very sturdy, with a good length of over 7ft. Good value for money. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that the locking mechanism to extend the pole ( grooves cut into pole) are very shallow thus its very easy to accidentally knock the pole from it's required height and causing it the pole to collapse into itself

Bought this as my mum has had one for years that still looks in great condition. Its stong durable and easy for my partner to use who has arthritis, far easier than the ones you have to twist to tighten into position.

I have two of these props in use already. When I bought a third, cheaper version for occasional use I went for a round pole with tightening ring at top and a snap-on type of clip onto the washing line. The screw tightening to adjust the length, can slip, I have arthritis in hands, so hard for me to tighten sufficiently. Also the clip onto line part was stiff not easy to disengage. However, this ADDIS, square pole is stable, with easy to adjust length holes, and simple to clip onto the washing line. Additionally, a good length when extended and it reduces to half its length to store away. Excellent piece of equipment which I highly recommend.

Excellent prop. Reminds me of my first wooden prop which never let me down either.Delivered on time and packed well.Good value for money - thinking of buying a second one.

Does what its supposed to do. But what a waste of packaging, check image. Had no packing inside to stabilise item

Not very good as notches to hold for desired Hight are useless.these notches are far to shallow to stay in place.a bit of wind and the prop leaves the ground and collapse.
