Actually very good! The first time I used this I thought it was rubbish, but then a decorator friend told me to just keep going! So I did, over and over, not only does it score the wallpaper well enabling the steam from the steamer to penetrate, it also gives you a very good upper body workout! (Ignore the sentence on the packaging that says not for use with woodchip, that’s the wallpaper that benefits most from this little stabby thing!)

This device scores paper just enough for water or steam to penetrate. Making removal of old paper easier. My using the device it helps prevent gouging out chunks of plaster which is a win in my book. Give it a try, it will save you time and stress when removing old wallpaper.

I have now removed wallpapers from several rooms using this scoring device. It's working well and should allow me to complete the full house. Some of the wall paper is water resistant and this perforator has really helped free it. I am using a garden sprayer to wet the paper with a water based stripping solution.

I am using this to remove painted wood chip wallpaper. I find it doesn’t score the paper deep enough. It is better than nothing but not as effective as scoring the paper with a Stanley knife.

Absolute rubbish. Didn't even dent the wallpaper yet the actual tool was on the verge of buckling. Steer clear, utterly useless.

I have to admit to being skeptic about this product having tried something similar and it not working. However I was so wrong this has been a game changer for me having to strip so many walls in a timely manner and unlike my previous one it did the job quickly without damaging the wall underneath so yes it’s great give it a go yourself it’s worth having as it will save you a lot of time and extra effort

Thought to myself yes this would be great for the walls, just make sure you have a tight grip of it as mine stopped mid way through rubbing the wall down and injured my thumb badly as it got stuck under the spikey wheel and torn the skin off completely
