Works with a Bodum pour over too.
Took a chance and purchased for a Bodum 8 cup pour over. Fits perfectly and helps keep the coffee warmer than the plastic thing Bodum supplied. Well made and looks good too. Very pleased.

Doesn't fit snugly
It doesn't fit securely in your chemix. I've had the chemex for years and decided to buy the overpriced lid. The very first time I reached for the chemex with the lid on it, the lid slid off, fell on the floor, and shattered into a million pieces.
