Tisserand Aromatherapy - Ethically Harvested Rose Absolute Essential - Massage & Bath- 100% Pure and Natural - 2ml

I am an avid aromatherapy oil user, I have a burner on daily. My go to smells are Geranium, Lavender, Franckinsence - and Rose Absolute. TIsserand is one of my favourite brands, and this particular oil is beautiful. It's a bit too thick and expensive for the oil burner, but it is absolutely stunning when added to home made facial oils, and massage oils. It's quite strong, so you don't need too much.

I've really come to trust Tisserand as offering top quality oils. It's worth paying that bit extra and stop wasting money on weaker oils. The quality and smell of this Rose Otto is exceptional. I added 4 drops of this Rose Otto with 4 drops of Tisserand Frankincense essential oil to a 25ml dropper bottle filled with jojoba oil .... what a divine mix! For someone who has mature yet combination skin, this works a treat. Not only does this combination relax and uplift, it leaves the skin (and me) feeling loved and beautifully moisturised, balanced and glowing, with no greasy residue, since jojoba mimics the skin. My next step is to add a little pomegranate carrier oil to the mix for more anti ageing oomph :-) (As a PS,, I think 2 drops of each essential oil would been enough ... I added 4 because I didn't realise the quality)

Beautiful rose smell

Good quality rose oil is expensive and therefore I was taking a bit of a punt on this. Don't bother. You really do get what you pay for. Good quality rose oil should be almost colourless with a powerful scent so that only the tiniest smear is needed. This stuff is bright orange (wtf?) and hardly smells at all. I'm guessing whole rose plants have been distilled rather than just the petals. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Bit confused by those complaining the bottle is half full honestly. You’re purchasing 2ml. To provide a “full bottle” the bottle would have to be minuscule! Pay close attention to the quantity you are purchasing. 2ml is not going to fill even a small bottle. Rose damascena is extremely expensive and this is ethically harvested. You’re getting what you’re paying for. (As an aside, Neal’s Yard is twice the price for the same product and quantity!). Natural colour variation is normal too especially in organic and minimally processed oils. My box arrived a bit scuffed which was disappointing, especially as this may well have been a gift. This isn’t unusual for Amazon and I’ve had other purchases including children’s books and items which were clearly gifts arrive the same way, I think they are just careless and mishandle goods. I don’t hold Tisserand responsible for this. I’ve been told the bottle should have been sealed (it wasn’t, nor has any other bottle I’ve bought from Tisserand via Amazon) which I’m querying as if it should have been it’s clearly been tampered with. If anybody knows or can chime in with how theirs arrived, please answer my question above 👆

Agree with those who said it’s hard to get drops out but you can take the top off and get more out that way. Beautiful, posh scent. Very full and lasts a while. I wear as perfume so I used vitamin E oil as carrier oil. You will definitely need a carrier oil of used for perfume because it’s evaporates fast without. Good quality as you would expect from tisserand.

A lovely product and smells really lovely. Only the packaging was a little damaged and the filter didn't work so I had to remove it to be able to get the contents out

I’ve brought other makes before around the same price but this is wonderful as you literally only need 1 drop put into your diffuser ( I made the mistake of using 6drops like I do with any other oil ( or the rose oil I’ve used before and it nearly blew my head off it was SO strong 😅) Bonus as it means it will last for a very long time so it’s worth the high price. I use it for my C-PTSD and anxiety and it really helps lift my mood and it’s very comforting.

Such a fabulously great product to use. Rose Absolute Pure Essential Oil is expensive yet quite worth the price as it is extracted from the flowers grown in France. I use it with coconut oil as a body moisturizer. I recommend this product for the oil, quality and the price. A truly wonderful scent...a small amount goes along way...Enjoy!

Rose oil is quite expensive, but I found Tisserand Rose Oil to be very reasonably priced and the quality is beyond what I expected. The smell is lovely. I use the oil with fractionated coconut oil as body moisturizer. It has been great for my skin as well as evening out some discoloration from an old surgical scar. I would highly recommend the oil for its quality, scent and price!

La rose de Damas est extrémement chère. Celle ci-n'est peut être pas de Damas, mais l'huile a les mêmes proprietés que des produits beaucoup plus chers.

Tisserand oils to me are the best.
