Good bit of kit for the money, backed by good service from APS. Provides decent circulation in my community 180L corner aquarium, improving the effectiveness of my filtration, and distribute the heater's warmth. Only downside is, it's hard to remove the front cover to access the impeller without using too much force. I snapped two ceramic shafts just trying to remove the cover as it's hard to get a straight pull on a small area. Now I use pliers to gentley prise the guard off straight.

Does what it says and it’s a good wave maker, quite strong and only has either on or off so wish there was a way to adjust the flow but easy to set up. This created a good flow around my 4ft tank though and cleared the detritus off my substrate.

I can't fault the power or the utility of this - it's great for what it does. Unfortunately for me it is louder than what I deem acceptable so I decided to return it. It ruins the peaceful hum of my aquarium by producing quite a notable motor sound.

Not powerful enough too turn over 2000lh, doesn't move the surface or below the water line 2 weeks old and the spindle is broken already flimsy not suitable for tanks over 150l difficult to purchase spares, maybe throw it away and look for a better quality item with the power I require.

plenty of power for a smaller tank, the fish have to put the work in when it on, get the tank moving around. quiet too.
