I used it around my rabbit's hutch, and its brilliant. Apparently slugs love rabbit food, and are willing to slime up a two tier rabbit hutch and squish through the wire to fill their foot mouths! I am used to fighting a battle with my plants, but really! I had to go out every night and hunt them, not hard as they were either climbing up, squishing through or covering the bowl and all around it. The rabbits have absolutely no table manners and dig through their food so its everywhere, they're idiots too! On one night I went out and filled a takeaway container, twice, and I mean filled. I then found out that just as in the case with dogs, slugs can cause rabbits to be extremely ill. So one night against my principles but in keeping to Supernatural (tv show) I encircled to hutch with salt, therefore making it the slugs own fault if they went over to certain death. Some of the little gastropods must have been on the underside of the hutch, little suckers, but was a lot better. Salt is fine until it rains and the salt goes plus the horrific slug death! However bought this stuff and stuck it around both layers of the hutch. Very easy to put it place with a very easy backing. No slugs, absolutely none and if one tries, it gets an electric shock, so basically tasered, I can live with that. Don't know how long the tape will last, it has started going green as copper does when outside but I can't see any difference on slug watch.

No problem good tape

I purchased the copper foil tape to help with a problem I have had in a new flat which came with slugs! The things is, I had no idea how to deal with the problem and I had to find some way of getting rid without becoming a hit-man in the slug world. I had found after reading that they don't get along well with copper and so I decided to see whether the tape would work. I wanted a safe way to deal with them as I did not want to use toxic pellets on them and this was a safer option on the little slimes. I am sure so far making a good perimeter and covering crevices and gaps has worked. The tape itself is not too wide in width and so it is not too overly intrusive to look at when I go in to the kitchen. I also after using a decent amount of tape had enough for making a perimeter around my plant pots to prevent any of my plants getting slugged! The kitchen was the only place of which was where I was finding the slimy fiends and now I've noticed a great difference and no more trails left on the kitchen rugs. It could be safe to say the copper tape may had did the trick of making them disappear. I think I got my monies worth, but I can't be sure. All in all, I will give a 4 star. I will give the rating for the price, quality and ease of use. The slugs however give it a 1 and rate it the worst product ever made. :)

I bought this tape because I suffer from a crippling phobia of slugs. To stay one step ahead, I now wrap myself head-to-toe in it before bed, leaving a small breathing hole so I don’t suffocate. I also apply a fresh layer whenever I step into the garden, or frankly, anywhere slugs might have been within the last decade. The tape sticks well, conforms nicely to the contours of a human body, and gives me the peace of mind I need to sleep without imagining a rogue slug inching across the duvet. If you’re looking for traditional uses like crafting or electronics, I can’t comment. But as a full-body anti-slug defence system, it’s genuinely excellent. Would recommend.

I used this to shield the inside of my guitar, and the results actually blew me away (not exaggerating). I went from having persistent, frustrating hum when amped up, down to practically none!! Takes a bit of time, but absolutely worth it, especially on your studio axes!

Very hard to peel the backing away. Even on a warm day I had to resort to a heat gun to peel the backing off cleanly. Apart from that fine, I am hoping the tape sticks to the new substrate as well as it did to the backing paper. It takes soldered connections readily incidentally so I would buy again despite the fiddling trying to support the tape and heat gun.

nice width, but trying to find the right width tool is impossible to find

As a hobby I build scenic slot car layouts, I used to use preformed plastic track such as Scalextric or Carrera. For the last year or so I've been routing the slot that guides the car and this double sided self adhesive copper tape is brilliant! It's so easy to apply and has excellent conductivity, best of all it is very reasonably priced and very durable.

I ordered this product to try alongside another. Adhesive capacity was weak (in my experience). Tore far too easily (like aluminium foil). Picked up odd stains. I would not purchase again.

I used this to shield the control cavity and pickup routes of a guitar I was rewiring. I noticed it is quite a bit thinner than the stuff I'm used to getting, and initially I thought "well they did state the thickness, my bad, guess this stuff is just lightweight for drones/RC stuff" but I used it anyway, and boy am I glad I did. Due to the thinness, it was WAY easier to mold to the contours and get it to lay flat than the old stuff I had (which was quite a bit thicker.) The adhesive is very good and had no problem sticking to paint and also bare wood, and I tested for continuity across the first piece to the last, with no solder bridges, and it was a complete circuit. I had no issues with tearing or damage related to it being thinner, either. It was just easier to work with - and I suppose if you are shielding a drone or RC vehicle the light weight would be appreciated. In short, it does everything copper shielding tape should. The thickness should have no bearing on the effect of blocking noise and my results were impressive - the guitar is now super quiet, even on a high-gain setting and when not touching the strings/bridge to ground them.
