Nice to still have a decent dock in a world where everything is getting cheapened...
It's really nice HP have a proper dock for their business notebooks. We have about 25 notebooks which are a mix of Elitebook's and ProBook's (depending on power user or standard user) and the really nice thing is this dock is universal which means hot-desking is no problem and everyone has standard kit and we have no day to day problems. Most of our docks drive 2x monitors and work perfectly. The only thing to watch for is that the laptop has HDMI output and the dock has 2x DisplayPort (AND 1x VGA) so ensure you have the right cables for it! The notebook locates easily onto this dock compared to some horrible Dell ones we used to have and it works well. No complaints. A TIP is that there is a firmware update available for this dock which HP hide well so ensure you update this. I cannot link to this on the review but the HP SoftPaq number for this is sp100099 so please search for: SoftPaq sp100099 and you should find this firmware update yourself which is latest to date :) I hope that is useful for some people!!

Sleek resin, great functionality.
Works beautifully on a few compatible HP laptops that I have. Compact, good connectivity and ports. Very sleek and good looking…nice design! Really good value for money. It charges the laptops very well. Very happy and would happily recommend.

Does what it says...
Bought this to use in home office during current working from home situation. Bear in mind there are several variations and it's important to source teh correct type. This item is solid, functional and arrived very quickly.

Not the dock you’re looking for
On an HP 840 G5, which is compatible with this dock, the design with the release clip blocks the single USB C port. Daft.

Great for home working
Perfect for my home office, my personal hp elite book 850 G1 and my work laptop both use this dock happily, so I can easily switch between the two.

Funktioniert wie es soll. Alles super mit einem Probook. Kann die hier angegeben Probleme mit 4K Monitoren nicht nachvollziehen. Vielleicht mal ein gescheites Displayportkabel verwenden, welches auch für 4K geeignet ist? Verwende die Dockingstation mit einem 4K Monitor über DP (auch in 4K Auflösung), einem HD Monitor mit Adapter von DP auf HDMI und zusätzlich dem Laptop Bildschirm selbst, läuft so bestens mit drei Anzeigen.

3-4 yo Zbook 15u, I get full 4k video with a little $9 displayport to HDMI dongle (this dock has 2 display port video out, no HDMI, and physically blocks access to the laptop's HDMI port). Comes with 65W power brick so don't buy a separate one. Same dock as at work, no more plugging cables every day, saves wear on connectors. Wired Ethernet for speed and security.
